X17Online LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - After months of silence, Rihanna is finally speaking out about her horrible ordeal with Chris Brown, the ensuing media madness and domestic violence. In an interview with Glamour, Rihanna revealed that although certain events in the past several months have been "humiliating" for the pop star, she's now "stronger, wiser and more aware." When asked how she got through the difficult year, Rihanna replied:

"My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be—no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God."

But she says the incident with Brown is not the only thing she's had to overcome:

"I am talking about starting with the night [before] the Grammys and then on. That was not the only thing that occurred this year. The picture leaking…it was one thing after another. It was humiliating; that is not a photo you would show to anybody. I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it’s my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women."

And the ensuing media coverage of the shocking event has become a learning experience for Ri:

"It has taught me so much. I felt like I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. It was like, What, there are helicopters circling my house? There are 100 people in my cul-de-sac? What do you mean, I can’t go back home?"

After months of working on herself, Rihanna finally feels that she's ready to help others by speaking out about domestic violence:

"It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women."

Lindsay hopped into a car with 16-year-old paparazzo, Austin Visschedyk, who sped off down Hollywood Blvd., ran a red light and got pulled over by the cops -- as Lindsay hid in the back seat! "Lindsay was on her photo shoot at the Chateau Marmont for what seemed like an eternity -- from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. After that she went to Wonderland night club with a few friends at 1:40 am. When she left the night club, at 2:20 AM, she jumped inside of a 16-year-old paparazzo's car! He was speeding down Hollywood and when he passed the red light on the corner of Hollywood and La Brea, the cops pulled him over! In an excerpt from the book obtained by The Times, he writes about his first encounter with the drug in 1997, when his career was starting to fade and he was having troubles in his marriage to Brooke Shields. He writes that his assistant, whom he calls "Slim", first introduced him to the drug:
“Slim is stressed too ... He says, You want to get high with me? On what? Gack. What the hell’s gack? Crystal meth. Why do they call it gack? Because that’s the sound you make when you’re high ... Make you feel like Superman, dude. As if they’re coming out of someone else’s mouth, I hear these words: You know what? F*** it. Yeah. Let’s get high. Slim dumps a small pile of powder on the coffee table. He cuts it, snorts it. He cuts it again. I snort some. I ease back on the couch and consider the Rubicon I’ve just crossed. There is a moment of regret, followed by vast sadness. Then comes a tidal wave of euphoria that sweeps away every negative thought in my head. I’ve never felt so alive, so hopeful — and I’ve never felt such energy."
Agassi later details how he lied to the ATP after he failed a drug test to avoid a three-month suspension. He sat down to write the association a letter:
“I say Slim, whom I’ve since fired, is a known drug user, and that he often spikes his sodas with meth — which is true. Then I come to the central lie of the letter. I say that recently I drank accidentally from one of Slim’s spiked sodas, unwittingly ingesting his drugs. I ask for understanding and leniency and hastily sign it: Sincerely."
