Technically, Alli's voice isn't bad -- it's okay. But she's trying to hard to make each note sound "good" and not hard enough on actually putting emotion into the song. Her rendition emotionally sounds the same all the way through and it lacks any amount of character. Britney thought it was good because she heard a decent voice. But there's more to being a good vocalist than that.
