I believe this is also why Britney freaked out so badly when she found out they didn't just throw the hair away but in fact had swept it up and kept it to sell or donate. (Once she found out that the drugs are no longer detectable after a certain amount of time has passed once the hair has been cut, she stopped her insane lawsuit/tirade because she knew she wasn't in danger of being caught having done the one thing that would DEFINITELY have gotten her kids taken away promptly and probably permanently.)
