Sorry, but I think you haters are really crazy. I´m not even her biggest fan, but even I´m able to understand how nervous and scared she was. It was he first public performance after more than three years! I was almost sure she will cancel it, but no matter how hard the struggle was behind the scene, at the end she found the courage and will to go through it and that itself deserves a huge applause. I think she really feels much stronger now. It was a big step.

Now, for those people who are complaining that it was too short or she didn´t sing live. Those shows were labeled as M+Ms exactly for that reason. Nobody ever confirmed Britney will even show and be it anybody else it would be probably really a surprise but everything about Britney is crazy these days, so it leaked on the net almost immediatelly. Still, those shows weren´t so much for the fans as for Britney herself. She needed to found if she is even still able to perform before audience. She needed to test if she is strong enough to face people again, after tons and tons of negative news. You can almost see how terrified she is. That´s why she is barely communicating with an audience and why she is lip-synching. It took almost all her power just to get up at that stage again. But I´m pretty sure it will be better and better from this point and she will get enough self-confidence to make another succesfull big tour. It just needs one step at a time. The video is shitty quality. Technical issues aside, those girls completely upstaged Britney. They dance way better than she does. All Brit had left was her dancing, and now that's gone too.

You generally will not see a lip synching "artist" address the crowd very often because of this unless it is a large production, where there will be numerous engineers present for the vocalists que's.
