Ummm...I don't think they're trying to pretend like that's not a photoshopped pic, they said they were spotted together at the same place on the same night those pix were taken, they even linked to the story with Shakira in the photo, they just did that for effect!!!

Looks like some creativity going on with the photo ... possibly a bit of editing. Too many hands for two people and something or someone has been edited out in between them ... but that's just my opinion.

Why is everyone focusing more on the fact that the picture is photoshopped(which is obvious)than whether or not he got her number, which is what the story is really about? In my opinion, he probably was just working the room being friendly and talking to different people and the NY Daily News is just trying to make something out of nothing. People magazine had a report of Shakira and Penelope being at his after-party a few days after it happened and it mentioned something along the lines of he spoke to her, but nothing about getting her number.
