dexterpits.jpg Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are splitting after less than two years of marriage, and their reps confirm to EW, “Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.”

Both reps add that the split was amicable, but we're so bummed about this! The duo met on the set of their hit Showtime drama, (Carpenter plays Halls's adopted sister in the series) and they got married on December 31, 2008.

I guess holy matrimony was the pits!
