What happened?
The Tourist earned $17 million at the box office its opening weekend, placing it in the number two spot - number one?
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Yeah, exactly.
Is it because of bad reviews? RottenTomatoes.com shows that the flick has a 20% rotten rating, partly due to the "lack of chemistry between Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie."
When Jolie and Brad Pitt premiered Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005, the action film raked in $50 mil its opening weekend...
More interestingly, Natalie Portman's Black Swan cracked the Top Ten this weekend in sixth place with $3.3 million, despite the fact that it's only being shown on 90 screens.
