Why do almost all celebrity families have nannies? Regular families can hack it by themselves 24/7/365, yet the "stars" can't seem to even with all their time and money! If you have kids, raise them yourselves.

It must be so hard to get some quality family time in, in the little time they have to do so on the weekend. But give him (and Jill) credit at least they give the full effort as notable here even amongst the photogs. I have to agree; I have an issue when you intrude on such a private family moment or time. They went to the beach to spend time as a family and you filmed them! There is a time and place but, I think you should have left them alone. Patrick was clearly not happy you videoed them but he was gracious enough to respond to you and obviously gave you what you wanted. But how does one relax when they can't even get out of their car without you filming? Leave them their private family time, like this one.I feel like I just intruded on their lives for having watching this. :(

Take pictures of the celebs if you must (they signed-up for the job), but leave their kids out of it. Shame on you.

It's sort of sick that I watched this...but it is one of those things you can't look away from. The reporter was clearly annoying them...sure, take you pictures or whatever, but do you really have to talk and annoy them? They are people just like us in the end.

Further more, Patrick and Ellen aren't getting together, kids. I think it is disgusting that you want him to cheat on his wife and children...and sad. And if he ever did do that, I definitely wouldn't be clapping, and I would think twice before I ever watched another movie or television show with him in it.

I apologize to Mr. Dempsey and his family for having watched or looked at this - happened upon it while surfing for Grey's spoilers - something I do for sport/fun and out of respect for Maestro Shondra Rhimes who runs a good game.
This is an outragegeous invasion of an actor's privacy - and so wrong. And particularily this actor who is gracious and generous in his public outings.
I feel bad about having seen this and so should everyone else who does.

He is not the only celebrty getting families pictures taken in public. Pictures are fine but when they go up with their video camera and start talking to them that makes me mad. I felt I was invading his privacy when I watched the video.

I understand that they are celebrities, and that the paparazzi comes with the deal of being famous..However,I felt nothing but sadness watching that film.. They went out as a family to enjoy their day, and goodness gracious, that photographer stayed there the whole time from beginning to end. I an only imagine going to the beach with for some quality time with my family and being filmed the whole time and what that feels like...OK it is a public beach, but that doesn't mean photographer's have to be so heartless..Is it for the photographer's own fame and $$$$ Sure, so why should they care if they invade on this family's privacy..
