How would you know? Breastfeeding burns a lot of calories and is an excellent way for new mothers to shed the extra weight from pregnancy. Because the baby needs a lot of energy and nutrients, breastfeeding actually burns a lot of fat for the mother. To call her selfish is just plain ignorant.
TOTALLY AGREE!!!! Who told ya she´s not breastfeeding? I breastfed my 2 kids until they were 10 months old and 5 months after giving birth to them I was sknnier and healthier than I´ve never been my whole life!

I wasn't breast fed and my brothers were. They got all the allergies and asthma and I am the healthiest. Breastfeeding is not necessary but it does burn a lot of calories!
I have to agree with Anonymous there - she is obviously not breastfeeding - It's plain to see her breasts are not filled with milk. I have naturally small breasts - but I am still breastfeeding my 15 month old daughter an my breasts are bigger than that because of the milk. I agree, it is a shame that she's putting her weight (or whatever reason) before her baby's health and well being. I suppose we all could've figured out that models wouldn't make the most nurturing or best mothers though, couldn't we?

Janeen, you are a fol if you think that. Breastfeeding gives your baby the very best start to a healthy life. Sure - if you don't care about your baby then breastfeeding is useless - but if you actually love them, then you will research it while pregnant and then breastfeed them until they wean so that they are the healthiest they can possibly be.

I breastfed both of my babies but it is a fallicy that it burns calories. A breastfeeding mother needs to have fat storage to produce fat-rich milk. Also, toxins are stored in our fat cells and losing weight too quickly releases those toxins into breastmilk, so the body naturally hangs onto that fat (and a breastfeeding mother requires ample calories). Having a job that requires rapid weight loss would make breastfeeding a less than ideal choice for the baby, so it's a good thing if she is not. It would be better if she could have taken a few years off work to nurse, but people make their choices and it's not our business to judge. That said, she does look phenomenal!!

you dont always get a choice to stop brestfeeding. i tried and triedn and tried to get my sone to do it, but it just wouldnt happen. so of course i had to do formula and eventually the milk just went away. this really pisses me off when moms nag so hard about other moms not breastfeeding. everyone has their struggles!!

from someone who is currently breastfeeding their 2nd child, I can vouch for saying you dont have to have full boobs to be nursing. Her baby could be with her. She could have just nursed and they are "empty." Apparently, she lost alot of volume from pregnancy, but dont judge..she looks great!

In what world is it anyone's business if she is breastfeeding??? Breastfeeding has NOTHING to do with if you are a good or bad mother. It is a personal choice. Her baby is 5 months old, are you at her house, do you have any clue if and when she stopped breastfeeding? Plus some of the most important nutrients in breastfeeding is from colostrum, the pre-milk. So if it was HER choice to breastfeed and did it for a short period of time, more power to her. She is gorgeous, she is a model, not a prostitute. She is making a living to take care of her child, so people get a life!

i'm breastfeeding my 8 month old baby and i've lost the baby weight quite fast. got my pre-pregnancy weight 2 months after giving birth and i'm even skinnier now. i can eat whatever i want because my baby is absorbing all my fat/nutrients i guess. so please, let's not judge her.

Maybe she can't breastfeed. Not everybody produces enough milk to be able to breastfeed. Two of my sisters-in-laws were unable to even though they tried and so they babies were on bottles by the time they were only a few weeks old
She could have already quit feeding. My brothers wife's rule was as soon as they get teeth and start biting her while feeding she was stopping nursing them. My youngest nephew was on a bottle at 5 months due to his biting habits

Ok first of all she is beautiful inside and out. The hell with all this breastfeeding BS. I stopped producing milk after 2 months of having my baby. Every womans body is different people geezzz. Some produce milk for months and months and some only for a short while. So enough.... bottom line is we all agree that she is again beautiful and a very successful model and good for her.

Why is everyone freaking out about her breastfeeding? Some women do have careers and don't have time to pump there breasts or stay at home with a baby and breastfeed. I'm sorry, but modelling is not work - it's pure vanity and provides nothing to society. As for breastfeeding, it's true that some women can't, but too many women just don't. However, I know plenty of women with full-time jobs who have taken the time to breastfeed and express their milk, because they care about the health of their baby. It is good for the baby and good for the mother too. As a model, she should have plenty of time to breastfeed.

Most women, even ones with nice bodies, look better in a one-piece than a bikini and yet so many wear bikinis and end up showing all their figure flaws.
