Mariluz, April 20th 5:47, unfortunately, I agree with you. He does need to step back and let her shine. Although I strongly believe he has her best interest at heart, but, it's coming off like a boyfriend, versus her father. Just my opinion.

Billy Rae is the protective dad, and he does a great job at it. I believe that is why his daughter is doing good in showbiz.

The deal is is that he plays her Dad on Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel and he's a main main character- like every scene practically has Dad in it and he's funny! We (my kids and I) love the show- so yeah- it looks weird maybe if you don't watch the show. But if you know it well, he has every right and place to be there- he's in the movie too-DUH

5:00 I totally agree with you. He is practically in every scene and I do love that show. I'm 23 and watch it with my neice all the time. I even watch it when I'm not babysitting her =]. They have a good relationship? Whats wrong with that. Not all father daughter relationships in hollywood are like Lindsay Lohan and her psychotic dad.
