LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested at Heathrow Airport in London today after she was handcuffed on an aircraft and removed from the plane, according to Sky News.

She is being held on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Sky reports that an airport spokesperson said, "I can confirm that a passenger on board a British Airways flight was removed by police."

The British news outlet also says passengers on the flight complained Campbell was "aggressive and abusive to staff." The Sun reports that Campbell became angry when one of her three carry-on bags went missing.

The supermodel is known for her temper; she was charged with assault when she allegedly hit her housekeeper with a cell phone back in March of 2006. She completed community service at the Department of Sanitation in New York City as part of her punishment for the alleged act.
