LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to 27 months in jail at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court today for assaulting a pub landlord and then attempting to pervert justice, according to NME.com.

Fielder-Civil and his friend Michael Brown assaulted James King at the MacBeth pub in east London in June of 2006. Prosecutor Jocelyn Ledwood told the court King suffered a broken nose and cheek-bone and after the assault, Fielder-Civil, Brown and two other men attempted to bribe him to keep quiet.

According to Sky News, Winehouse was not present at the sentencing. Fielder-Civil has been in Pentonville Prison for the past nine months, and he plead guilty to the offenses last month.
