LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Dark Knight has broken another box office record, this time for being the fastest film to break the $200 million mark. The film earned $203.8 million in the first five days of its release, after having the biggest opening weekend in box office history. The previous record holder was Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, which took eight days to earn over $200 million in domestic ticket sales.

After it's $158.4 million opening weekend, the film took in $24.5 million on Monday and $20.9 million on Tuesday, which were the the best non-holiday Mondays and Tuesdays of all time.
