Lindsay Lohan Skips Out On Her Grandfather's Funeral

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - For most of last week, Lindsay Lohan and her father Michael were feuding via statements to the media and blogs for all the world to see. However, when Lindsay's paternal grandfather passed away on Thursday, Michael Lohan told X17online Lindsay had texted him saying, "Now papa has found peace and maybe we can find peace in our lives, too." Lohan said that he "fully expected" Lindsay and her siblings to attend the wake and funeral, and that "it is time now to put our differences aside."
However, Lindsay posted another Myspace blog later on Friday saying that she had "no contact" with her father, and added, "I hope he uses this time to keep mourn the loss of his father, rather than taking the time to talk to the media about me or anyone in my life." Though the 22-year-old actress was in New York City over the weekend, she did not attend her grandfather's memorial service; instead, Lohan went shopping with Samantha Ronson in the East Village, and appeared to be in an upbeat mood.

Stupid, ridiculous, selfish GIRL, not a woman. Who hasn't had to attend funerals out of respect for the DEAD, not the living, even when you don't care for the living (though she should have SOME respect for her living relatives)? Shows her complete immaturity and self focus; no surprise. Though she's in NY; maybe there's hope she'll show her face.

guys jeez its not like oh my grandfather died im not going. he was a a jerk to her and never showed her any kindness so back off people have their own reasons for stuff!
