Paris Hilton Mourns Dogs Killed in Coyote Attack
(09/18/08 9:03 AM)
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Two of Paris Hilton's pet dogs were killed by coyotes earlier this week X17online has learned. The dogs were apparently on the grounds of Paris' hillside home when the attack occurred.
"Paris is really upset about it," a source close to Paris told X17online exclusively. "Some people think she's eccentric, having so many pets, but she just really, really loves animals and it was devastating for her."
It is not clear which of Paris' dogs were killed in the attack.
Los Angeles area animal control officials called the attack "unfortunate" and said that it can be difficult for residents who live in areas where coyotes are found to protect their pets.
Hilton is a well known animal lover and has often been photographed with her pets at a variety of high profile events.

I'm really sorry about your babies. Recently I had a Coyote take off with my two babies. They were Chihuahuas and I loved them to death. I terribly miss them. One was a 2 1/2lb girl, and the other was a 4 1/2lb girl. I know how you feel.
I am not a fan of yours but we recently lost our beloved chihuhua, Crispy, to coyotes. Our loss is great because Crispy was such a spunky, loving, and energetic tiny being that can never be replaced. We extend our condolences to you.

I recently almost had such an encounter when I let my Bishon and Chihuahua out about 5am. I noticed something run past the bishon and stop in corner of the yard. When I realized it was a coyote...the 2 dogs started barking and my chihuahua {who is crazy} started chasing him and off they went across the street into the park. I saw the coyote stop in middle of the park and that is when I ran and woke up my boy friend to try to call him {they listen to him}. So he is out in the st in his underwear calling Chip. And here he comes from up the alley by the park. I thought the coyote more than likely would kill him but he didn't. The neighbor is missing 2 beatiful big cats though.
Hi Paris, So sorry, I know how you feel as my little boy chihauhau Harley was killed by an American pit bull which wandered on my property last Tuesday. I heard a noise and we out to see the big dog just spit my baby out. Still crying and in shock. Cant get over my loss...take care
