Store Ordered To Stop Using Nude Image of France's First Lady

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy bruni_200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A clothing company is being forced to pay $75,000 in damages for distributing bags featuring a topless image of France's First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.

Bruni-Sarkozy is a former model who posed for the picture years ago.

Pardon, the french clothing store that printed the bags, is also being forced destroy the remaining five thousand bags it has already printed.

The court ruled that Pardon violated Carla’s ownership rights of her image.

Her lawyers have said she will donate the money to charity.
