LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Michael Jackson's will prepared in 2002, the singer's estate is to be divided among his mother and three children. Jackson's father Joe was purposefully left out of the will.
It has been reported that Jackson's parents believed the singer died without a will.
The 2002 will has not yet been filed with the court. That is expected to happen sometime this week in Los Angeles.
At stake is Jackson's fortune valued by some at as much as a billion dollars. However the singer is also believed to have debts of at least half that much.
Jackson's rocky relationship with his father is well documented. Jackson has alleged that his father often beat him as a child and that he would become physically ill in his presence.
