Britney Spears Australia Lip Sync Controversy Continues

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears' lip syncing was causing controversy In Australia even before she arrived for the Pacific leg of her Circus tour and now Spears is reportedly feeling the backlash.
Ticket prices are as much as $1300 for VIP seats and now that Spears has performed her first few dates Down Under, fans and critics are getting even more vicious about the quality of her show, causing Spears to become "extremely upset," according to reports.
Australia's Daily Telegraph reports that Spears holed up in her Perth hotel after fans walked out on her "lackluster" performance over the weekend (a claim her promoter, Paul Dainty, flat-out denies.)
"Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset about it," Dainty told The Australian. "She's a human being," he continued. "I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting."
Fans have come to Spears' defense on her website, posting several messages of encouragement about her shows down under. Even John Mayer defended the pop princess, tweeting, "If you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you."
Plus, she's got something to look forward to -- Brit's boys are reportedly set to join their mom down under!

BRITNEY has lip-synched her whole career and why anyone would pay any amount of money to see one of the most untalented high paying wanta be singers, is beyond me ~~ she may be able to entertain but she has no singing ability and people paying so much money to go to a concert, really want something for their money. BRIT is not it!!!
We all know britneys concerts consist with lip syncing, IM A FAN! its no lie! WHY would you worry about it?? its her performance style, and she does it well, im actually quite embaressed to live in perth after reading what our harsh critics have said!!! I went to the concert and it was breathe taking
Look, she was a cute no-talent little girl who was built up to be a star by some clever publicity people. Now, she's a no-talent adult who was past her prime years ago. The reason she lip syncs is because she can't sing worth a damn, and only with computer technology to create an illusion that she can, she'd be serving burgers at MacDonalds. She should wake up, smell the coffee and go home.

i thought her melb show was awesome!!! If you actually thought she would sing live - then you have got rocks in your head! Everyong knows she lip sync's - so dont buy a ticket then! Go watch Kings of Leon bash on guitars or something.
Britney Spears has long worn out her welcome as a teen star.
There was no way I was going to pay the hugh ticket prices to see her act which wandering around the stage and lip sinking.
They said once, Spears is not a singer but an "entertainer". Is that a cover up for not having any talent?
And her 2007 MTV performance of "Give Me More" was a joke. I did an impression of her doing it in a comedy show and
got lots of laughs.
Actually she could sing in the begining, but at age 18 they say she lost her ability to sing? Can someone explain that?
