LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been careful to avoid any admissions that they're a couple offscreen as well as onscreen, but last night they proved they were romantically involved when photogs caught them in an intimate moment, holding hands at Le Bourget airport in Paris.

Fans of the films have been speculating about their relationship ever since their steamy connection onscreen in the first film, but Rob and Kristen have gone to great lengths recently to hide it, making sure they're never photographed together and talking around the relationship in interviews. But yesterday, they seemed to be sending a message of a different kind.

Says one photog on the scene, "Kristen almost never smiles when she's photographed, but from the minute she arrived in Paris, she seemed lighter, happier. Maybe being in the most beautiful city in the world relaxed her, and she became tired of hiding." The photog continued, "She looked so calm and content with Rob's hand in hers, I think she finally decided not to fight it anymore and let her relationship live out in the open!"

With the Twilighters on a press tour of Europe for New Moon, perhaps Rob and Kristen will be even more inspired to stop fighting the rumors and reveal what fans have known from the beginning: that they're definitely a couple!
