The Beatles Break iTunes Records

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Beatles have sold more than 5 million songs since making their November 16 iTunes debut, according to a spokesman for iTunes.

Each of the Beatles’ 13 studio albums, including Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Revolver, The White Album, and Abbey Road, was remastered for digital release along with the recordings.

Single albums have a download purchase price of $12.99, double albums go for $19.99 and individual songs are $1.29 each. The most popular song download is currently Here Comes the Sun, from 1969's Abbey Road, which is the band's top-selling album on iTunes.
