Domestic Rights On Hold For Madonna's Film W.E.

madonnapic200face.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The rights for Madonna's film, W.E., have already been sold in the UK, however CAA has put sales in North America on hold for now. The agency says their aiming to open up sales in the Fall.

The negotiations may start at the Venice or Toronto Film Festival, according to Deadline.

Village Roadshow has reportedly taken New Zealand and Australia rights. The site also reports sales in France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Spain and Latin America are going for "over asking price."

The movie stars Abbie Cornish, Oscar Isaac and James D'Arcy.
