During a presentation at the eG8 technology conference in France earlier this week, Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, said Netflix is one of the companies they have been having discussions with.

Their possible plans are a broader plan by the social network to develop features which would allow users to share their favorite music, news, TV shows and other media content. Sharing photos and social games are already popular activities amongst users.

Facebook would use the content by their licensed partners, as they would have a continuous feed, which would display videos, songs and other media the user is consuming.

The website is in discussions with a few online music services, such as Spotify, to develop another feature which would display a user's most-played song that their friends would have access to.

But Facebook did not comment on its plans any further.

Facebook was in discussions with Apple, last year, about adding social features to iTunes, but the talks never developed.
