The upcoming fall drama, starring Cibrian and Amber Heard, is set during the rise of the original Playboy Club in 1960s Chicago. NBC’s Salt Lake City, Utah, affiliate KSL-TV says it will not air the show due to objectionable content.

The station said that the show doesn’t fit with its mission, with the president of the affiliate saying:

“The Playboy brand is known internationally. Everyone is clear what it stands for. We want to be sure everyone is clear what the KSL brand stands for, which is completely inconsistent with the Playboy brand.”

The station is owned by Deseret Media Companies, which is controlled by the Mormon church, whose mission is to “champion values that have been cherished by good people from diverse backgrounds for centuries.”
