Martin Scorsese To Be Honored At Critics' Choice Movie Awards

scorsesecriticschoice200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Martin Scorsese will be honored with the Music+Film Award at this year’s Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) selected the Hugo director for "touching audiences through cinematic storytelling, and [heightening] the impact of films through the brilliant use for source and original music," according to a press release issued today.

Nominees for the 17th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards will be announced Tuesday, Dec. 13, and VH1 will broadcast the ceremony live from the Hollywood Palladium on Jan. 12, 2012 at 8 p.m.
