The Oscar-winning producers, in conjunction with LBI Entertainment, have sought the rights from Orwell's estate and have begun seeking writers to help tackle the 20th-century classic.

Shepard Fairey, the artist known for his iconic Barack Obama "Hope" poster, played an integral part in helping bring the classic novel to the famed producing duo.

The book, set in a dystopian society, focuses on Winston Smith and his desire to rebel against a secret government branch that aids in propaganda and historical revisions.
