The three original members, Slash, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler, hit the stage this weekend to perform some of their greatest hits during the festivities, including classics like Sweet Child O' Mine and Paradise City.

With Axl's absence, the group recruited Miles Kennedy, lead singer from Creed spin-off band Alter Bridge, to take over the microphone during their set.

Axl Rose refused to attend the event after citing a "lack of respect" in a letter addressed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week.
