Kate Hudson On The Cover Of People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Issue

Kate Hudson KHUDSONPART20910.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Hudson graces the cover of People's 19th annual special issue featuring the "100 Most Beautiful" stars of 2008.

In an exclusive sit down interview, Hudson tells the magazine about her beauty secrets, her relationship with Owen Wilson ("It's personal."), her ex husband Chris Robinson, and answers the burning question about why son Ryder's hair is so long. "Why is it so weird? My son likes his hair. He likes his hair long because it's like his father's," she tells the magazine. Hudson also opens up about how she shed nearly 70lbs after giving birth to Ryder, and how she quit smoking, "I quit New Years, cold turkey. I'm so happy."

People also talked with Hudson about being compared to her mom, Goldie Hawn, and the actress said, "Oh gosh, if I look anything like she does when I'm 60, I'm going to be a very happy, happy lady. She's a beautiful woman and an amazing mother."

"I've never been a big makeup person," says Hudson. "I'd go to school with my zit medicine on. That's how much I didn't care. I think it's why all the popular girls had a problem with me." Hudson is one of 11 stars in the issue, including Brooke Shields, Vanessa Hudgens and Kristen Bell who posed without wearing any makeup except untinted moisturizer and lip balm.

The "100 Most Beautiful" issue also pays tribute to a group of celebs who have made the list so many times, they're in the "Hall of Fame." Nicole Kidman (who has made the list 9 times), talks to People for the first time about her pregnancy. "Being pregnant is one of the most profound experiences...I'm realizing the power and the beauty of being wholly responsible for nurturing, feeding. My blood is running through this little person and bringing it to life. So it's not necessarily that I feel beautiful, it's that I feel a purpose." Joining Kidman in the "Hall of Fame" are Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, Halle Berry (who has made the list 12 times) and George Clooney.

"The New Classics" is a list of 2008's fab faces who put a twist on tradition. Miley Cyrus kicks off the list as "The Phenom" and she says, "what I've learned is that you don't have to be stuck to being one thing. When I do change my look, I think it's fun." Joining Cyrus on the list are Ashton Kutcher (The Practical Joker), Kate Beckinsale (The Brit Import), Christina Applegate (The Comeback Kid), and Sarah Silverman (The Funny Honey).

The "Heating Up" list is another new category that gives a nod to the new talents, rising stars and the next generation of Hollywood beauty. Celebrities such as Rumor Willis (The It Girl), Amanda Beard (The Olympian), Anna Friel (The Cult favorite), Jason Taylor (The Dancing Defensive End), and George Clooney's girlfriend, Sarah Larson (The Newbie) all made the list. When asked if she feels more beautiful when she's in love, Larson says, "Doesn't everybody?"

Also included in the issue are David Beckham, Rihanna, Ashton Kutcher, Beyoncé Knowles, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Norah Jones, Josh Groban, Tina Fey, Vanessa Williams, Mariska Hargitay and Marcia Cross. The entire cast of Gossip Girl is featured in the issue as well as the ladies of MTV's hit show The Hills, Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Heidi Montag.

Angelina Jolie BPITT0Ange51308.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - In an interview today with The Today Show’s Natalie Morales, airing tonight on Access Hollywood and tomorrow on The Today Show, Angelina Jolie confirmed that she is expecting twins.

Jolie confirmed the news in a side-by-side interview with her Kung Fu Panda co-star Jack Black. Black let the news slip during the interview, and then Jolie followed up with her own confirmation.

“It’s confirmed? Is it two?” Morales asked. “Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Jolie replied. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.” Morales asked, “So you’re having twins?” and Jolie nodded in response. When asked if she knew the sexes of the twin babies, Jolie said, “We would like to keep that private.” Star Magazine previously reported that Jolie is expecting twin girls.

Jolie also said that she would "possibly" stay in France to deliver the twins, and she talked at length with Morales about her family life.

X17online contacted a rep for Jolie to confirm the news and the rep simply said, "Angelina speaks for herself."

Angelina Jolie Entertainment Weekly Interview Highlights

Angelina Jolie jun202008_998_lg.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Academy Award-winning actress, mother and humanitarian Angelina Jolie, 33, gives a very candid interview with Entertainment Weekly, and she discusses everything from film roles, to family to her past.

On pregnancy:
"[Being pregnant is] great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you're just so round and full."

On family activities:
"On weekends we usually have family sleep. We always have one night a week where everybody stays up late, watches a movie, and stays in our bed. We have, like, a slumber party."

On marriage:
"It's not a big intentional thing not to marry. We immediately were a family when we became a couple, and children were the priority, and we're both legally committed to the children. And that seemed to be the right thing."

On her ex-husband, Billy Bob Thornton:
"I still love him dearly and think the world of him and I'm proud to have been his wife for a time. I don't believe in regrets. It's a dangerous habit to get into — it makes you pause in your life if you start thinking back and questioning yourself."

On her latest role as Fox, in the upcoming film Wanted:
"I don't think like in Wanted - which is an action movie - people should [just] be killed. I think there should be trials and justice. But the idea behind Wanted is not that she's a badass assassin that just likes to kill people. It's that, if you ran into Hitler before he did everything, and you knew, should you shoot him? And I would. These assassins are getting lists: They find out who is going to slaughter other people ahead of time and they remove them. So that was the side of me that identified with her. But it is a confusing thing, certainly for rights activists. Don't read too much into it."

On her reputation:
"That some people support me and some people really don't like me tells me that I'm making decisions and I'm standing strong for something I believe in. I'm making choices in life. And that's the right thing to do."

Angelina Jolie Gives Birth To Twins

Angelina Jolie ajoliebabies200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins yesterday at Fondation Lanval Hospital in Nice, France. A boy, which Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt name Knox Leon, weighed in at just over 5 lbs. and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, also 5 lbs., were delivered via Cesarean and mother and babies are said to be doing well.

The Oscar winner, 33, has been at the hospital for more than two weeks, awaiting the arrival of the twins. Pitt has been seen visiting Jolie almost every day since then, many times with at least one of the couple's other four children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh.

A source inside the hospital has told X17online that the C-section was originally planned for Monday but because of Jolie's weak condition, her doctor, Michel Sussmann, decided to go ahead with the delivery two days earlier than planned.

Protests Threaten Security At Lenval Hospital Where Jolie Gave Birth

Angelina Jolie AJoliePreg0520_01.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Residents in Nice protested this evening outside Lenval Hospital where Angelina Jolie's twins were born on Saturday (July 12), speaking out against what they say is the mayor's undue attention to a celebrity birth over the murder of a local youth which, they say, received little attention from officials in the southern French city.

The local family, originally from Tunisia, told X17 video cameras they demand justice for their 22 year -old son who was stabbed. The crowd chanted "We want justice!" A protester added that city officials have not paid attention to the boy's murder and that they have not been allowed to return his body to Tunisia. The man said Nice's mayor, Christian Estrosi, has been "celebrating the birth of the twins with Brad Pitt, meanwhile there has been no murder investigation and the killer [of the 22 year-old boy] is still running free in the city."

Protesters became enraged and some even tried to enter the hospital. Anti-riot police were brought in and Jolie's partner and the father of the twins, Brad Pitt, hired three extra bodyguards to secure the hospital.

The protest perhaps signifies a larger issue in France with immigrants, particularly those from north Africa, feeling they receive little attention or respect from the French government. Riots in March 2006 on the outskirts of Paris drew worldwide attention when young people burned cars in reaction to new labor laws that kept many immigrant students our of the French workplace. One protester today in Nice told X17, "France is our country; we respect French people; we love France; but when we're treated as if we're worthless, we love no one anymore."

Angelina And Brad Conceived Twins Through In Vitro

Angelina Jolie jolie-pitt-cover.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went with costly in vitro fertilization to conceive twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, according to Us Weekly. A source told the magazine, "They conceived through in vitro fertilization. They both desperately wanted more babies soon." The source added that the couple chose in vitro so Jolie "wouldn't have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant."

In addition to the "stress" of getting pregnant, the couple may have had difficulty conceiving in the first place. Pitt is 44 years old, and the chance of someone having fraternal twins at Angelina's age (33) without fertility treatments is under 1 percent, but with in vitro, the chances shoot up to 25 percent.

Angelina Jolie Told To Gain Weight For Next Film

Angelina Jolie AJOLIE060507.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie is one of the frontrunners to play the female lead in The Thomas Crown Affair 2, but a source for The Daily Mirror reveals that producers want Jolie to put on some weight first.

Producers don't want a repeat of the incidents that occurred on Jolie's last action film Wanted, where she reportedly fainted and had to have her costumes taken in. Additionally, she was criticized for being too thin to portray an action woman and the source adds, "Ideally they want Angelina to put on two stone [28 pounds] for the role. It is going to be very physically demanding, which is why they want her to carry the extra weight."

The film is scheduled for a 2009 release, and Pierce Brosnan is set to play Thomas Crown.

Paparazzi Fight With Security At Pitt-Jolie Estate

Angelina Jolie AJOLIEBPITTMORE052107.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - French police have confirmed that two camouflaged paparazzi managed to sneak onto Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s property in southern France yesterday. After being discovered by the couple's security guards, a fight broke out, and now both parties have filed legal complaints accusing the other of battery and causing injury, according to the Associated Press.

Freelance photographer Luc Goursolas claims he was hit with a walkie-talkie, punched, kicked, and left with a head wound that required three stitches. Goursolas told AP today, "I was pouring blood. I threw myself at them, put blood all over them, and told them that I had HIV so they would stop hitting me." Goursolas said he wasn’t on the property, but in forest near the estate when the guards found him and his partner in crime, camerawoman Marianne Saint-Arroman. Goursolas also claims that Brad talked to him after the altercation and said, "What you are doing is bad, I am fed up with my private property being violated. If you want war you will get it."

Tony Webb, who is head of security at Chateau Miraval, had a slightly different story. Webb said the photographers were on the property, about 600 yards from the house, and denied that the guards punched Goursolas. Webb said Goursolas had camouflaged his equipment and appeared to be “there for a good stay.” He added that Pitt and Jolie may be forced to move if their privacy is not respected, and that local police aren't taking the problem seriously.

First Photos Of Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt's Twins Fetch $14 Million

Angelina Jolie hellocover.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The first photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's newborn twins have sold for $14 million, an insider involved in the negotiations revealed to The Associated Press. Hello! magazine has the international rights to the pictures, while People holds the domestic rights to the exclusive shots of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt.

This is the second time both publications won the rights to the couple's baby pictures, and the third time the couple has brokered a deal with the magazines and given the money to charity. Angelina Jolie Undecided On Presidential Candidate

Angelina Jolie AJOLIE060507_17.jpg LOS ANGELES, California - Though both presidential campaigns have reached out to Angelina Jolie, the Oscar-winning actress has not yet decided who she is going to vote for in the upcoming election.

In a statement provided by political adviser Trevor Neilson to Variety, Jolie says, "I have not decided on a candidate. I am waiting to see the commitments they will make on issues like international justice, refugees and how to address the needs of children in crisis around the world."

Earlier this year after her trip to Iraq, Jolie wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post titled, "Staying to Help in Iraq," in which she stated, "My visit left me even more deeply convinced that we not only have a moral obligation to help displaced Iraqi families, but also a serious, long-term, national security interest in ending this crisis. Today's humanitarian crisis in Iraq and the potential consequences for our national security are great. Can the United States afford to gamble that 4 million or more poor and displaced people, in the heart of Middle East, won't explode in violent desperation, sending the whole region into further disorder?"

Jolie added that she wanted to "call on each of the presidential candidates and congressional leaders to announce a comprehensive refugee plan with a specific timeline and budget as part of their Iraq strategy."

In her June interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jolie was asked if she had discussed politics with Clint Eastwood, longtime republican and the director of her upcoming film, The Changeling. "Actually, we don't disagree as much as you'd think. I think people assume I'm a Democrat," she said. "But I'm registered independent and I'm still undecided. So I'm looking at McCain as well as Obama."

After doing action films like Wanted, Tomb Raider, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the role should be a breeze for the 33-year-old actress.

Angelina Jolie AJolieCannes05.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are making a $2 million donation to the Global Heath Committee to create a center for the treatment of AIDS in Ethiopia.

According to Access Hollywood, the money from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation will also go toward establishing a program to help treat drug-resistant tuberculosis in children and adults.

The Oscar winning actress told Access, “Our goal is to transfer the success we have had in Cambodia to Ethiopia where people are needlessly dying of tuberculosis, a curable disease, and HIV/AIDS, a treatable disease.”

The center will be an expansion of the Cambodian Health Committee which has combated AIDS and tuberculosis in Cambodia since its foundation in 1994. The famous couple has also donated, through their charity, to that organization in their son Maddox's native country.

Brad Pitt BPittNight200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) -Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their brood touched down in New York City Thursday morning, where Angie is set to walk the red carpet this weekend for the premiere of her upcoming drama, "Changeling."

This the first time the actress has been in the U.S. since giving birth in July to the couple's twins in the south of France.

The Jolie-Pitt clan recently set up temporary residence at the Palais Parkschloss villa in
Berlin while Pitt works on Quentin Tarantino's war epic, "Inglorious Bastards."

Around the Globe with the Jolie-Pitts

Brad Pitt BradAngelinaFrance_200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A private plane carrying Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their six children touched down in Nice, France early Wednesday morning.

The couple and their children arrived from New Orleans, where Brad's "Make it Right" foundation is working to build as many as 150 homes in the historic city's hurricane devastated 9th Ward. Yesterday, Brad along with Angelina and sons Pax and Maddox toured several of the newly built homes and met with residents. Despite a light rain, the children were able to try out a new playground and amused their parents as the boys had an impromptu sword fight with their umbrellas.

The two-day trip to New Orleans, followed a trip to New York where Angelina attended the red carpet premiere of her new film "Changeling." It was the first public appearance in the US for Angelina since giving birth to twins Vivienne and Knox, earlier this summer. At the premiere Angelina showed off two new tattoos marking the longitude and latitude of the locations of Vivienne and Knox's birth. She has 4 identical tattoos marking the locations of her other children's births. But it wasn't all work, as Angelina found time to take daughters Zahara and Shilo to an art gallery.

The Jolie-Pitts round-the-world week began in Germany, where Brad is working on the film "Inglorious Bastards" for director Quentin Tarantino. While in German, the family has taken up residence at Palais Schlosspark outside Berlin. Media reports say the family's new home is nearly 12 thousand square meters where they are attended to by a staff of 14.

It's not clear how long the family will be in France. The couple had been living at Chateu Miraval near Nice during Angelina's pregnancy.

Angelina Talks About Kids and Relationships

Angelina Jolie WCover_200.jpg

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Adoption advocate Angelina Jolie says she never thought she would give birth, but that her partner Brad Pitt helped her change her views.

"I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do," Jolie, 33, says in November's W, which features photos taken by Pitt of her breast feeding. "Now I wouldn't trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn't otherwise be here."

The hollywood couple have six children, three adopted from impoverished countries and three biological children.

Jolie gave birth to twins, Vivienne and Knox in July, two years after the couple's daughter Shiloh was born. In an excerpt of the interview posted by Entertainment Tonight, Jolie describes newborn Knox as "very chill" and adds he "loves music" like his father. While Vivienne is described as a "studier" and "more demanding."

She goes on to say that she isn't worried about the effects pregnancy has taken on her body. "I'm with a man who's evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful because of the journey it has taken and what it has created," Jolie says."He truly sees it that way. So I genuinely feel sexier."

Jolie also says that her relationship with Pitt has changed her life in other ways. "I do think that I'm in a good partnership now.. I think it just needed to be the right man."

Jolie says 'Obama Would Be Great for My Family"

Angelina Jolie Angelina10_10_200.jpg

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie says she agrees with Presidential Candidate Barack Obama on many issues, but that doesn't mean she'll be voting for him in November.

"Obama is fighting for international justice, he wants to intervene militarily in genocide abroad, and he wants to close down Guantanamo Bay," she tells the German edition of Vanity Fair. "They are things which could move me to vote for him, not his roots. Of course, an American president like Barack Obama would be great for my family."

But Jolie says just because Obama would be a good example for her family isn't "reason enough to vote for him."

Although she spends much of her time abroad, Jolie goes on to says "I am very proud of being American, and all my children have American passports."

"For me, our family is just what America is - a melting pot, a mixture of many different races and nations," she tells the magazine. "My children should be proud of their Asian and African roots, but that in no way means a lack of respect for the fact that they and their parents are Americans."

W Magazine Publishes Brad's Pictures of Angelina

Angelina Jolie Wmagazinecrop_200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - W Magazine is publishing a series of intimate portraits capturing a week in the life of Angelina Jolie. The black and white images were photographed by Jolie's partner, Brad Pitt.

The idea of having Pitt take the photographs reportedly came from legendary fashion photographer Bruce Weber. He reportedly told the editorial staff of W magazine that the best pictures of Elizabeth Taylor were those taken by her husband Mike Todd.

"I was surprised that Brad accepted the challenge," says W Magazine's creative director Dennis Freedman of Pitt's enthusiastic response.

"Last time we collaborated, I was struck by his sensitivity to the subtleties of photography. I knew that he possessed a highly tuned critical eye and would be very demanding of himself. Still, I wasn't prepared for the beauty and intimacy of the images he made of Angelina and the children."

The photos can be seen on the magazine's website, wmagazine.com.

Jolie says She'll Adopt More Kids

Angelina Jolie AngelinaMom200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie says she and Brad Pitt plan to have more children.

When asked by the Today Show's Matt Lauer Thursday morning if she had plans to adopt more kids, she nodded.

"Yeah," Jolie, 33, said. "I have something in mind." But she didn't say just when she would be adding to her family.

"It depends...you can't even start the process until any new children are six months old," Jolie said. "It's a smart thing...to understand when to bring another child in."

As for now, Jolie and Brad Pitt are focusing on their 3-month-old twins, Knox and Vivienne.

"They're great," Jolie said.

Jolie says her other children - Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 - have adapted well to the new additions.

"You know, we have so many children, they're not really stunned anymore when kids come home," Jolie said.

"Mad's like the professional big brother, he's done it so many times," Jolie says. "We prepared them... they knew [the twins were] coming."

The children "are all at that great age that they aren't threatened," Jolie continues. "That they are independent enough to not need mommy and daddy all the time, and to be able to enjoy the kids.

"They play with them, they change their diapers, they call them their babies, and they dress them up and you know, they have fun with them," Jolie says.

The actress also says she's "pretty much" on the same page with Pitt in raising their children, only disagreeing on minor events, like when to let the kids join them in bed.

"At the end of the day, they're so cute, we let them in!" Jolie says.

Jolie Says Relationship Began While Brad was Married

Angelina Jolie AngelinaNYT200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie says that she and Brad Pitt fell in love while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. In a new interview, Jolie says the romance began on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Production of the film began in a full year before Pitt and Aniston announced their separation in January of 2005.

"Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love," Jolie tells The New York Times. Brad had previously claimed that he had already split from Jen when he Angelina began their relationship.

She also says that while they may be two of the most famous people on the planet, to their six children, they are anything but cool.

"What's going to be funny is when they think Mom and Dad are a little bit cool, because right now, we're not cool Mom and Dad," she says. "Even video games, you know, it's: 'Mom, you can't play this. You don't know how.'"

"Oh, they all think I can't do anything, that I'm just there to snuggle with. But the other day, Madd said, 'Can you do a cartwheel?' and I said, 'Yeah I can.' And he was like, 'Wow, Mom,'" she says.

"And I thought 'Oh, yeah. I can do some things. You wait. You'll find out. I'm capable," Jolie says.

Jolie Honors Eastwood at H'wood Film Festival

Angelina Jolie angelinaclint200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie made a surprise appearance to present Clint Eastwood the 'Director of the Year' award at the Hollywood Film Festival, Monday night.

"There are some people in this business that are icons, and we often wonder if, when we meet them, they'll live up to what we imagine them to be. And Clint Eastwood in person is even better," Jolie said.

Jolie, who is often followed around the world by paparazzi, managed to arrive unnoticed to the Gala event at the Beverly Hilton.

"Clint is what every great director should be. He is a great leader. And I certainly would follow him anywhere."

Eastwood had fond words for Jolie as well.

“Working with someone like Angelina Jolie is a great privilege, because you get to look on that gorgeous beauty every day. And she’s a great talent,” he told the audience during his acceptance speech.

Jolie Says New Film Made Her Want More Kids

Angelina Jolie AngelinaKids200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie says her role in "Changeling" stirred up her maternal instincts. She tells the Los Angeles Times that the role influenced her decision to have more children with partner Brad Pitt.

"I got pregnant right in the middle of it and I think partially because of it," she said, smiling. "I was so emotional about children that I think something in me kicked into gear."

But while Jolie and Pitt haven't ruled out adding even more kids to their brood in the future, US Weekly quotes Jolie's rep denying rumors she's once again pregnant.

"[The rumors] are not true," Geyer Kosinski tells the mag.

In the Clint Eastwood drama, Jolie plays the mother of a kidnapped son - the latest in a string of mom-centric films.

"I don't think it's a choice of mine as much as it is something women deal with when we get older," she said. "A woman in her 30s is more likely to have roles that in some way relate to family."

But Angelina says being the mom of six is rarely glamourous.

"I woke up at 3 in the morning with four kids with jet lag and two babies," the U.N. goodwill ambassador said as she reflected on one recent day. "I put myself together for a few hours and go out. And then I go home. This is my job."

But while she's taken on projects that have taken her away from Hollywood, she has no ill-will towards the place that made her a star.

"I don't dislike it here," the Oscar-winner said. "I just really do love to travel. I love other cultures. And I love raising my kids in the world. I'm so fortunate that I get to do that."

The bottom line for Jolie, "The center of my life is my kids."

Angelina To Replace Cruise in Spy Film

Angelina Jolie JolieSalt200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie confirms she will replace Tom Cruise in the spy thriller "Edwin A. Salt."

Jolie was brief when she talked about the project in an interview with BBC Radio, Monday.

"I'm working on a film called Salt. And it's with ["Bone Collector" director] Phillip Noyce. And that's it."

Earlier this summer, reports surfaced that writers were re-working the "Salt" script to make the lead character into a female after Cruise dropped out of the project.

Jolie says she'll head back to work in February, but after that she says she doesn't plan on working for another year.

"I like being home a lot," the mother of six said. "First and foremost, I have a lot of children, and I need to make sure they're growing right and they've got us there for them."

Brad and Angelina Will Marry If "It's Important to Our Kids"

Brad Pitt BradKids200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - While they've publicly stated they won't get married until "everyone" is legally allowed to do so, Brad Pitt told NBC's Ann Curry he and partner Angelina Jolie may tie the know if their children ask them to do so.

"If we feel it's important to our kids, we'll do so," Pitt said in an interview broadcast Tuesday morning.

He also talked, albeit reluctantly, about his six kids, saying, "I'm really proud of this family. I look at my sons and my daughters, and one's from Vietnam and one's from Cambodia and one's from Ethiopia, and…they're all brothers and sisters. And they're fighting, they're laughing, they're going into hysterics and staying up late, and they're messing with their parents, and they're driving me crazy and I'm really proud."

Curry asked him why he’s reluctant to talk about Jolie and his children.

“It just gets cheapened somehow, as it goes through the filters in the airwaves,” Pitt explained. “And some things you just want to keep close.”

The Jolie-Pitts Pick France For the Holidays

Brad Pitt JoliePittFrance200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their globe-crossing brood have settled in France for the holidays, according to Hello magazine via MTV.UK.

“I've been dragging them all from continent to continent lately, so we're going to have to give them a break soon. For the long term, right now, we're choosing France," Pitt said. "It's good living there, a really nice way of life.”

The Jolie-Pitts have been all over the world this year - from their homes in Los Angeles and New Orleans to a castle in Germany, where Brad was filming "Inglourious Basterds" - but right now, France is where they want to be.

“It's a place where the kids can run free and not be hassled – we have a good relationship with the locals, and it's a good base for the family," Brad says.

So how will the famous family be celebrating the holidays?

“We do exchange gifts, although we don’t feel any pressure to make them big or expensive gifts,” Brad says.

In fact, many of the gifts are homemade.

“The rule is that everyone’s got to make something for someone else, you got to put time into it,” Brad said. “Then, when they give to each other, it’s really sweet.”

Brad & Angelina To Put Malibu Mansion on Market

Angelina Jolie PittJolieMoving200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie say they may be moving out of the US to raise their six children abroad, MSNBC reports.

The couple is apparently moving forward with the plan and are getting ready to put their Malibu estate on the market. (Robert Downey Jr. is reportedly considering the property)

At the Newsweek Oscar roundtable Pitt blamed the relentless media attention on his family as the reason for the move.

“The publicity machine is out of control. It's everything we didn't sign up for,” Pitt told Newsweek.

“There's this whole other entity that you get sucked into. You have to go and sell your wares. It's something I never made my peace with. Somehow you're not supporting your film if you don't get on a show and talk about your personal life. It has nothing to do with why I do this.”

The Jolie-Pitts are reportedly looking to settle in France, home to strict anti-paparazzi laws.

But first, the family has rented a large estate on Long Island Sound while Jolie film's "Salt" for the next few months.

Angelina Visits Refugee Camp In Thailand

Angelina Jolie JolieThailand200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie continues her humanitarian efforts by calling on the government of Thailand to allow more freedom for thousands of Burmese refugees.

Jolie visited a refugee camp in Thailand on Wednesday as part of her work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador.

"I was saddened to meet a 21-year-old woman who was born in a refugee camp, who has never even been out of the camp and is now raising her own child in a camp," Jolie said in a statement.

"We must find some way to help them work and become self reliant," she added.

During the camp visit, Jolie also met with some teenage girls who said they are worried they might be sent back to Burma.

"I hope we can work with the Thai authorities to speed up the government admissions process and that you will not be forced to go back to Burma if danger remains," Jolie said.

Thai Official Not Happy With Jolie's Visit

Angelina Jolie JolieThai200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A Thai government official is criticizing Angelina Jolie for speaking out on behalf of Muslim refugees from Myanmar.

Angelina called for better treatment of the refugees, known as the Rohingya, during a visit to Thailand last week.

Thailand's military has recently been accused of detaining and beating hundreds of Rohingya who fled abuse and poverty in Myanmar, before towing them back out to sea in tiny boats with little food and water, according to the Associated Press.

The permanent secretary of the Thai foreign ministry says the UNHCR should not have brought Jolie, the organization's goodwill ambassador, to the camps.

The UNHCR wouldn't comment on the official's rebuke, but issued the following statement.

"Angelina Jolie was extremely touched by the plight of the Rohingya people. She expressed the hope that the human rights of the Rohingya people will be respected just as the human rights of everyone in the world should be respected."

Jolie Starts Work On 'Salt'

Angelina Jolie JolieSalt200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie has begun work on her latest movie the spy-thriller "Salt."

"She's a character you never know," producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura tells USA Today. "People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she's in a disguise also may or may not."

In the first pictures from the set, Jolie is seen in various wigs and other disguises.

Adds di Bonaventura, "You're supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?"

"Salt" has taken an unusual road to the big screen. Tom Cruise was originally eyed for the role, but he dropped out last summer.

The script was changed to make the lead character female, a process the producer calls "complex."

"We had to rethink the whole notion of how a man vs. a woman operates in the business world, in personal relationship and in friendships," di Bonaventura says.

"Salt" is expected to hit theaters in 2010.

'I Don't Want To Spoil My Kids' Says Angelina Jolie

AngelinaSpoiled200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Despite living in a $60 million mansion and flying around the world on private jets, Angelina Jolie says her kids aren't growing up spoiled.

Last night on CNN, Jolie said she makes sure that all six of her kids understand there are people less fortunate in the world.

But don't think Jolie's kids don't enjoy some of the spoils of her celebrity lifestyle. Angie says the family has "year-round birthday parties" that the older kids help plan. But that at the end of the day, she just want's them to be normal kids.

"We don't want them to be attached -- or take fame seriously, or anything like that," Jolie said.

X17 Xclusive - Angelina And Brad Make A Run To McDonald's

PittMcD200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - We're they just picking up a quick for the kids or was something else behind Angelina and Brad's recent trip to McDonald's?

Brad drove and Angelina sat in the passenger seat of the family's black Suburban, while their army of children all sat in the back of the monstrous SUV.

The family waited in the line for about five minutes, and their bodyguards blocked the drive through to prevent anyone from coming near the Jolie-Pitt gang.

A witness tell X17online exclusively, "It seemed like a normal family outing for them. Brad and Angie didn't try to hide from the cameras, and even though they attracted a lot of attention, they didn't seem to care."

Could there another reason these two are stopping by the golden arches?

Like pregnancy cravings? Rumors that Brad and Angelina could be adding to their brood are floating around Hollywood, but are being denied by their publicists.

Angelina Takes Shiloh And Zahara To Toys "R" Us

JolieToys200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - First it was a trip to McDonald's, now it's an afternoon at Toys "R" Us for Angelina Jolie and her kids. For kids whose parents are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, these are special activities that most children take for granted.

Jolie was spotted with daughters Shiloh and Zahara at the toy superstore in Burbank on Tuesday afternoon. After spending nearly an hour browsing the aisles, the family emerged with a shopping cart full of toys. But according to store employees they didn't act like celebrities.

"Shiloh and Zahara are extremely polite and well-behaved and Angelina is really natural and down to earth," a store employee tells X17online exclusively. "They bought tons of toys and looked around for about an hour before checking out. They picked out toys for both boys and girls," according to the employee.

X17 Xclusive - Angelina And Brad Hit The Drive-Thru Again!

PittMcDs200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - For the second time in as many weeks, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been spotted taking their kids to McDonald's.

Like last time, the Jolie-Pitts used the drive-thru at the golden arches in Hollywood. A witness at the scene tells X17online the family ordered Happy Meals for the kids, while Brad enjoyed a McCafe iced coffee. The kids are apparently not allowed to drink soda, since 3 bottles of water were ordered with the Happy Meals.

Is this the family's new Sunday ritual? Or perhaps like many other working families it's an easy and inexpensive way to keep the kids happy.

Brad And Angelina Fight At Premiere

BradAngieFight200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Are Brad and Angelina headed for divorce? While nobody is saying the marriage is over yet, there are signs of trouble.

Angelina and Brad attended the SKYY Vodka-sponsered Inglourious Basterds Premiere after part at the Modrian hotel. While the couple arrived together, according to witnesses they barely spoke to each other during the event.

Brad was seen in deep discussion with his Manager, while a more carefree Angelina worked the room.

Jolie was spotted chatting up actor Eli Roth and laughing with a couple of girlfriends. Witnesses say Angelina appeared to be in a great mood, despite the fact that she and Brad didn't seem to be speaking.

According to The Mirror, the globe-trotting couple shelled out $35 million bucks for Chateau Miraval, a 1,000 acre estate in Provence they had previously been renting. They plan to spend another $10 million renovating the 17th-Century Chateau.

Apparently, the couple are planning on re-doing all 35 of the main house's rooms to "give them a more contemporary feel."

They also want to add a new gym, a jacuzzi, steamroom and spa. They also are planning a motorbike track for Brad.

The Jolie-Pitts won't be the only celebs in the area, neighbors will include U2's Bono as well as Johnny Depp and his family.

"We're trying to spend more time in the South of France, because our kids have a more normal life there," Pitt said earlier this year.

Angelina Jolie Visits Somali Refugee Camp

angelinaref200.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie was photographed visiting Somali refugees at the Dadaab refugee camp on the Kenya-Somalia border, and the actress spoke with the children and young women at the camp during her stay. Angelina was there to raise concerns over camp overcrowding and lack of clean water, and she witnessed firsthand the piles of garbage, lack of potable water and overflowing toilets at the location.

Jolie was invited inside a one room shelter where three families live, and after speaking with the refugees, she told reporters, "It is amazing that as more and more people come into the camp they (refugees) continue to be generous with what little they have."

At the end of her visit Jolie added, "The Somali families I met today are full of warmth and affection. I wish more people could meet them because then they would have a stronger desire to help."

X17 XCLUSIVE - Angelina Jolie Signs On To Replace Charlize Theron In The Tourist

AngelinaJolieEXCLUSIVE-200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie jetted into Los Angeles on Wednesday for a quick meeting with Sony Pictures executives to sign the deal that will have Jolie replace Charlize Theron in the upcoming film The Tourist.

The film is a remake of the 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer and Jolie is to play a seductress/action role. The Tourist focuses on an American tourist who goes undercover for Interpol to trap a former lover who happens to be a suspected international criminal. Production is set for early next year.

X17online's exclusive photos also reveal another scoop in this story -- Sony had been looking for a director for the film after previously-attached Bharat Nalluri dropped out and X17's images show Cider House Rules director Lasse Hallstrom walking alongside Jolie after their meeting. The assumption now is the Hallstrom will direct.

X17 XCLUSIVE - Brad and Angelina Have A Hot Date In LA!

bradangelinacecconis200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - It's been a while since Brad and Angelina have had a night out together, but last night, the globe-trotting couple settled down in Los Angeles for a romantic dinner at Cecconi's in West Hollywood.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Brangelina arrived to the restaurant at 7:30 pm and stayed for two hours.

Angelina had a book with her -- Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. It appeared there was a meeting of some sort to celebrate the launch of the new book by New York Times columnist Nicholas D. Kristof and his Pulitzer Prize-winning wife Sheryl WuDunn. Gee, not exactly a casual night out!

Our photographer tells X17online: "Brad and Angelina looked really happy to be together. Angelina was holding Brad's hand and she was smiling the whole time. They both seemed proud of each other ... Then Brad drove away really fast, showing off his new car."

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Design Snake-Inspired Jewelry For Charity

brangelinagem200.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are designing a collection of snake-inspired gold and silver jewelry and accessories with Asprey, and according to company officials and Women's Wear Daily, the line will go on sale at Asprey stores later this week.

The aptly titled limited edition "Protector" collection was in the works for more than a year, and all net proceeds from sales will go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which Jolie co-founded in 2006. As you may recall, the charity raises awareness and money to help and educate child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.

So why the snake? According to WWD, Angelina was given a snake ring while she was pregnant with Shiloh, and she considers the serpent to be a protector of her family.

Prices start at $525, and though Brangelina wouldn't comment on the collection itself, they did discuss the goals of the charity, saying, “These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place - to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”

Angelina Jolie Fired From St. John, Not "Modern," "Clean" Enough

angelinastjohns.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie has lost her long-standing job as the face of fashion brand St. John, because she's too tainted by her fame!

“[Jolie] overshadowed the brand,” chief executive officer Glenn McMahon told WWD. “We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.” Does that mean Angie is dirty?

The company decided to hire model Karen Elson (who, incidentally, is married to White Stripes singer Jack White), saying, "We needed to show a modern point of view of St. John." Ooohh, snap, Angie, they called you old-fashioned! “We have evolved,” he added.

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Step Out Together At The Super Bowl

brangelinasuperbowl200.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reunited at the Super Bowl on Sunday after Angelina took a last-minute flight from LAX to Miami to meet up with Brad and Maddox.

The trio dressed in all black in support of the New Orleans Saints, and Maddox topped off his outfit with a Saints jersey.

A source tells X17online Brad and Angelina were very cozy throughout the game, with intermittent breaks for Brad to cheer on his team. The pair, with their oldest son, were a tight unit, hardly separating to mingle with others in their VIP skybox. Says the source:

"Brad and Angelina looked perfectly happy together -- so much so that it seems impossible that there were all of those recent reports they were separating. On the other hand, they might have been overdoing it a little with the display of affection."

Angelina Jolie Heads To Haiti

angelinahaiti200.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Angelina Jolie flew to the Dominican Republic yesterday to visit with earthquake victims and meet with Dominican President Leonel Fernandez, and she is expected to travel to Haiti today.

Both Angelina and partner Brad Pitt have donated $1 million to relief efforts in Haiti, so not only is she putting her money where her mouth is, but she's taking a hands on approach and lending her fame to a good cause.

The actress previously released the following statement regarding the situation in the region, "It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades."

Angelina Jolie Returns From Haiti, Says She Wasn't There To Adopt A Child

angiehaitiback200.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - After spending several days in Haiti meeting with aid workers and earthquake survivors, actress and UN ambassador Angelina Jolie landed at LAX yesterday afternoon.

While Jolie appeared happy to be returning home to her children, it sounds like she needs to get some rest after all that globe trotting. An X17 photographer at the airport tells X17online exclusively, "Angelina looked quite tired after all the traveling. She's used to it by now, but she doesn't always fly commercial."

Before Jolie headed back to the U.S., she sat down for an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour and revealed she and Brad will not be adopting any children from Haiti "at this time," and that she was in the country simply to help with relief efforts.
