Hailey Baldwin ventured out to grab coffee in West Hollywood on Monday, and the model seemed so serene that you would never have known that she had an uncomfortable encounter with boyfriend Justin Bieber's ex Selena Gomez the night before!

Apparently, Hails and her dad Stephen were partying at The Nice Guy on Sunday night when the "Come & Get It" songstress arrived. Although the blonde beauty reportedly could have cared less, poor Miss Gomez had a mini-meltdown.

"Selena was so freaked out when she saw Hailey at Nice Guy. She wasn’t expecting it at all and it really threw her for a loop. They run in the same circles, but Selena has never been a big fan of Hailey’s, mainly because she always suspected she had a crush on Justin. But Selena is a lady and she has been friendly with Hailey in the past so she knew she had to say ‘hello’ to her and her father. She was polite and greeted them both but then when she got to her table she was pretty shaken up. She couldn’t really eat. Her food just sat there while she texted on her phone," a source dished to Hollywood Life.

Hailey should be happy that Selena Gomez has a new man, because maybe she will finally give up her hold on The Biebs!

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
After Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee announced they would be boycotting the 2016 Oscars due to a lack of diversity, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, released a statement on Tuesday.

In her statement to Us Weekly, Isaacs said:

"I’d like to acknowledge the wonderful work of this year’s nominees. While we celebrate their extraordinary achievements, I am both heartbroken and frustrated about the lack of inclusion. This is a difficult but important conversation, and it’s time for big changes. The Academy is taking dramatic steps to alter the makeup of our membership. In the coming days and weeks we will conduct a review of our membership recruitment in order to bring about much-needed diversity in our 2016 class and beyond."

On Monday, Pinkett Smith announced in a very dramatic Facebook video that she would not be attending or watching the show, saying, "The Academy has the right to acknowledge whoever they choose. To invite whoever they choose. And now I think that it's our responsibility now to make the change." Will Smith's wife added,"Begging for acknowledgment or even asking diminishes dignity and diminishes power. And we are a dignified people, and we are powerful. So let the Academy do them in all grace and love. And let's do us differently."

We think the message of standing up to the exclusion is important, but Pinkett Smith's last two roles were in Magic Mike XXL and Gotham -- I don't think the Oscars is going to miss her that much if she doesn't show.

On the other hand, Hollywood heavy hitter Spike Lee is also boycotting the awards ceremony, writing on his Instagram, "Mean No Disrespect To My Friends, Host Chris Rock and Producer Reggie Hudlin, President Isaacs And The Academy. But, How Is It Possible For The 2nd Consecutive Year All 20 Contenders Under The Actor Category Are White?"

We can't disagree with the sentiment -- it 50 shades of effed up that all the actors nominated are white, given the current climate of inclusion and diversity.

Amazingly enough, Chris Rock, who has taken on social media, calling out the "white BET Awards," will host the 2016 Oscars on Sunday, February 28 at 7 p.m. EST on ABC.

Caitlyn Jenner is planning to publish a memoir about her gender transition, writer Buzz Bissinger confirmed to the New York Times. Bissinger revealed that the I Am Cait star approached him about penning her story after he conducted her now-famous Vanity Fair coming out interview last October.

The book will cover everything from the reality star's childhood to her days as an Olmypian, as well as all three of her marriages. "I made it clear to her before I agreed that everything has to be on the table, nothing can be left out, and I’m going to be interviewing dozens of other people. It’s her book, but it’s going to be reported out to keep her honest. She’s been incredibly open, and I think it has the potential to be a really important book," Bissinger explained to the paper.

Jenner also released a statement confirming the announcement. "Things have been moving so quickly. It will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey," she wrote.

Kourtney Kardashian lunched with mom Kris Jenner on Monday in Calabasas, and it looks like the ladies had their hands full with Kourt's three kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign.

While we're not sure what's going on with baby daddy Scott Disick, apparently Kourtney did NOT hook up with Justin Bieber, this according to sister Khloe. During a recent round of Plead the Fifth on Sunday night's Watch What Happens Live, Khloe sat down with Andy Cohen and set the record straight. "Which of these sisters has Justin Bieber been with: Kendall, Kylie, Kourtney? Or, all of the above," Andy asked. Khloe's response? "Or, none! None! That'd be amazing if it was all of the above though."

Gwen Stefani and her middle son Zuma ran errands in Brentwood on Monday afternoon, and the singer showed off her long blonde mane and rocked a whole lotta denim. Gwen wasn't her usual smiley self, but she still looked incredible.

So what's going on with new beau Blake Shelton? The two have been inseparable since they started dating, and they recently attended a wedding for Shelton's stylist in Nashville, but don't buy into those rumors that Gwen is pregnant. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Sunday, Blake said, “I think it’s awfully early to be talking about that, don’t you?” Shelton said. He added that while the two are happy and doing well, they won't be moving in together anytime soon either. And there you have it!

In fact, new reports claim the "Wrecking Ball" songstress loaded up a U-Haul and moved into the Hunger Games actor's Malibu pad just last week. After reigniting romance rumors over New Years in Australia, it seems the couple is back in a super serious relationship once again.

"Yeah, what's up with that?" he remarked after a photographer noted that there are no black or minority nominees on the ballet for this year's Academy awards.

Celebs like Spike Lee and Jada Pinkett Smith are calling for a boycott of the award show because of the seemingly racist oversight, and if the Academy was smart, they wouldn't allow this to happen again. After all, some of the year's best performances, like Michael B. Jordan in Creed, were totally overlooked!
