Cate Blanchett arrived at LAX this morning with her adopted daughter Edith, and this is the first time we've seen the little cutie since she joined the actress' family. “We got a phone call earlier this year and we adopted a little girl. You’re on the list and then you get the call. You don’t know anything about the child you’re going to meet," she told Harper's Bazaar.

The Oscar winner is prepping for a busy award season, but she has confessed that she plans on taking a break from her career in 2016 to focus on raising her little girl. The Aussie beauty is getting praise for her performance in Carol, and we wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she brings home another gold statue at this year's Academy Awards.

Justin Bieber is firing back at boy band 5 Seconds of Summer after the band’s drummer Michael Clifford took shots at the singer in the new Rolling Stone magazine.

The drummer told the publication that Bieber “hates” the Australian band, and added that the pop star “had his own album on loop for, like, two or three hours” at his AMAs after-party.

Even if that is true — we don’t blame him. We love Purpose!

The Biebs responded to the jabs by tweeting, “@Michael5SOS Sorry guy, [sic] don't hate you. Don't even know u. And u sure u came to our party because my album wasn't on loop? Strange.”

The 21-year-old also added, “Wish u the best. Don't use my name for headlines. U are already on the cover. U don't need it. Just be honest. Big hugs bud.”

Clifford had his tail between his legs when he tweeted back, “@justinbieber done nothing but praise ur album; no idea why that's even in the article. big fan since the star man, take care.”

Despite what JB said, 5 Seconds of Summer did go to Bieber’s after party, which was at The Nice Guy in LA and the band was even photographed entering the bash!

Kim Kardashian revealed on the family's weekly live stream on Sunday night that her husband Kanye West bought her 150 gifts for Christmas! The reality star showed off the mound of presents on her website, which were wrapped with brown bows and piled high at Kourtney Kardashian's Calabasas home.

Among the mother-of-two's new treasures was a rainbow fur coat, a Louis Vuitton dress, and a Prada jumpsuit. So how did Yeezy have so much time to do his shopping? He didn't! The rapper flew his assistant all the way to Italy to look for the items, and he merely consulted on the purchases via Skype.

Kris Jenner pointed out how pampered her daughter was, to which Kimmy K replied, "I haven't shopped for myself in over six months. And Kanye has to deal with me every day." Wait, doesn't that mean SHE should be giving him 150 gifts?!

Yeezus spares no expense for his wifey apparently!

It’s a holiday miracle! Funny man Sacha Baron Cohen and his gorgeous wife Isla Fisher donated $1 million to Syrian refugees to the Save the Children charity.

The charity announced the big news on its website on Sunday, “Today Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have made a $1 million donation split equally between Save the Children and the International Rescue Committee to support victims of the conflict in Syria.”

The statement continued, “500,000 Dollars will be used to fund a programme vaccinating more than 250,000 children against a potential measles outbreak in Northern Syria. The other half of the donation will be used to help fund the work to support families, with a special concern for women and children, both inside Syria and in neighboring countries who are suffering as a result of the ongoing conflict."

The Borat star, 44, and the Confessions of a Shopaholic actress, 39, were praised by both the CEO of Save the Children, Justin Forsyth, and IRC president David Miliband.


The CEO of Save the Children, Justin Forsyth, said of the Borat star and the Wedding Crashers star, “By allowing us to make their generous donation to Syrian children public, Sacha and Isla are helping highlight the tragedy of the issue today.”

He added, "These are desperate times for Syrian families facing bombs, bullets and torture in Syria. The couple’s donation will save many thousands of lives and protect some of the most vulnerable children."

The couple have three children and were married in March 2010.

What does Khloe Kardashian wish for the new year?

As Khloe made her way into Gunnar Peterson's Beverly Hills gym to work off some extra Christmas calories, the reality star told X17, it's "Happiness and peace" and we couldn't think of a better hope for 2016. #NYE2016 #LoveAndLight!

Heidi Klum and Seal got their family together for a Christmas Eve dinner of sushi and sake (for the adults) at Matsuhisa in LA and the divorced parents were on their best behavior, in the spirit of Xmas!

The kids all wore their hair in cornrows, which was adorable, and as the family left the five-star eatery, they all kissed Seal goodbye -- including Heidi!

The supermodel mom seems to be on her own this holiday season. Rather than galavanting topless in St. Barth with boy toy Vito Schnabel, it appears Klum, 42, is flying solo -- with rumors the young art dealer, 29, is romancing Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson, 26. Will she be able to win back her man before the new year?

It was a very Kardashian Christmas!

The first family of reality TV pulled out all the stops for their annual Christmas gathering at Kris' house. The matriarch had a light-covered tent erected in her back yard and from the looks of her dirty dancing with boyfriend Corey, the tent wasn't the only thing erect!

Meanwhile, Kim posted an adorable shot with she and her daughter Nori wearing matching braids, while dad Caitlyn Jenner arrived in a floor-length sequin number. Drake was there to crash the party and Kylie kept things going with her unintelligible Snapchats, as usual. There was a bit of news about the youngest of the Jenner-Kardashian clan, however ... she received a HUGE diamond ring from on-again-off-again-on-again boyfriend Tyga and of course the Internet is on fire with speculation it's an engagement ring. I mean, frankly, it supposed to be -- but the 26-year-old rapper has so little knowledge of jewelry that he thinks it's just a blinging cocktail ring to be work on the right hand. #NoIdea

Lady Gaga's pup Koji is killing us with his cuteness!

The singer's dog sported a cowboy hat and baby blue tank top for the flight home to New York on Christmas Eve. And really, who cares what Gaga was wearing when you've got so much fashion going on with her bulldog!

Koji's not Gaga's only pet ... of course she has her other bulldog Asia, but she has a new addition to the family ... a white horse! Gaga was gifted the mare by her record label, Interscope. Check out her Instagram the other day, after receiving the surprise at her doorstep:
