Once a teammate, always a teammate ...

Lamar Odom's former teammate, Kobe Bryant, broke his social media silence and tweeted about his friend, whom he rushed to visit at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas upon hearing of the shocking news that he had been found unconscious in a brothel and was in critical condition.

Bryant tweeted, “#justpray,” along with the message: “When WE feel the need to question the support of others in moments as critical as a life hanging in the balance, then we must question the kind of culture we have created that has led US to such insensitive suspicion.”

The 37-year-old took the opportunity to slam public criticism over his loyalty to his friend. Earlier in the week, rapper Master P called Bryant “phony” and said his visit to Odom was a publicity stunt.

“If Kobe was his friend, Kobe like, owns the team. He could’ve got the man back on the team, that’s all he wanted,” The "Make 'Em Say Uhh" rapper told TMZ.

The Lakers shooting guard was first alerted to Odom's situation while playing a preseason game against the Sacramento Kings at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Tuesday. He left the game early and went immediately to visit his friend in the hospital.

A new report is claiming that Lamar Odom's condition has improved because his heart is on the mend and responding. Oh my gosh, we hope so! We are all pulling for Lamar!

TMZ is claiming that tests on Lamar's heart Friday morning have showed that his heart is functioning "much better." The site is saying that the Doctors have told Khloe Kardashian, and the rest of Lamar's friends and family this development is a very good sign because that means a critical organ is improving.

Also, despite the media firestorm outside the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, the basketball players doctors have asked for "calm" in Lamar's room because they do not want him to be stimulated in any way. Non stimulation is vital at this critical point because it promotes healing.

Apparently almost no one has access to Lamar's room -- except for Khloe -- she's by his side. Of course.

We are praying for both of them.

You may think being an international pop star, a TV star and having a major hottie for a fiance would mean that Lady Gaga wouldn't have a care in the world -- but that certainly isn't the case. In hopes of helping others with similar problems, the superstar just revealed she struggles with depression and anxiety daily.

The "Applause" singer admitted, "I’ve suffered through depression and anxiety my entire life, I still suffer with it every single day. I just want these kids to know that that depth that they feel as human beings is normal. We were born that way. This modern thing, where everyone is feeling shallow and less connected? That‘s not human."

The 29-year-old also said that she believes cell-phone culture is leading to people's (especially teens) unhappiness, saying, "There is something in the way that we are now, with our cell phones and people are not looking at each other and not being in the moment with each other, that kids feel isolated. They read all of this extremely hateful language on the Internet. The Internet is a toilet. It is. It used to be a fantastic resource—but you have to sort through sh-t to find the good stuff."

The singer has been trying to fight this fight and help others along the way for a long time. The singer launched her own nonprofit, the Born This Way Foundation, in 2012 to help aid struggling teens.

We have a feeling that Mother Monster's speaking out about her own woes -- will help thousands of others. Way to go, Gaga!

Some people should keep their mouths shut!

A rep for Khloe Kardashian released a statement to Us Weekly on Friday, asking that Dennis Hof, the owner of the Love Ranch South brothel, where Lamar Odom was found unconscious, Dennis Hof, please stop speaking with the press as Lamar remains in critical condition. And we can't blame her -- that guy won't stop talking about what Lamar did at his pay-to-play love nest!

The statement says, "We reached out to Dennis, politely asking him to respect Lamar’s (and Khloe’s) privacy during this difficult time, and refrain from talking to the press. This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad."

Ever since Lamar was found unconscious in a VIP suite, Hof has been spouting off to various media outlets, even going on Wendy Williams on Thursday, and claiming Lamar spent $75K at the cathouse.

"You can spend a few hundred or a few million there. Lamar wanted a long period of time. He gave the girls $75,000 but he planned on being there a long time, at least five days," Hof told Williams. "He called and wanted me to come down, we were going to have [a] little birthday party for me, so it would have ended up being like 10 days by the time he left."

Hof, of course, responded to Khloe's statement and talked to the press some more about it. "I know what happened," Hof said. "I'm the one protecting my business and telling the truth about it." What a great dude ...

In addition there are reports that Khloe has been drained handling the medical decisions of her estranged husband, whom she is not legally divorced from. A source tells , “It’s very hard on her even though he’s her ex. There’s still a lot of emotion there and she wouldn’t want to ever see him like this. And to have to make decisions on top of it now is also very hard. It’s a lot on her shoulders and a lot weighing on her.”

Meanwhile, the Kardashian/Jenner clan announced on their websites that they've put a pause on their apps during this trying time. The statement read, "As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."

Lamar's son, Lamar Jr., 13, and daughter Destiny, 17, have also given a statement to CNN, "Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."

Trevor Ariza paid a visit to the Las Vegas hospital where his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate and friend Lamar Odom is currently staying. Odom is on life support and has been since his arrival on Tuesday, after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.

Police released audio recordings of the 911 calls placed by staffers at the Love Ranch South, which is where Odom was found. An employee at the brothel named Misty told 911 operators that Odom had "blood coming out of his nose and white stuff." One of the staffers revealed that Odom had been doing cocaine, and according to Us Weekly, the former pro athlete was found to have very high amounts of the drug in his system after a blood test was conducted.

While many know Odom for marrying into the Kardashian family, let's not forget that he won two NBA championships with the Lakers and had a professional career spanning over 14 years. Ariza, who currently plays for the Houston Rockets, was also joined by Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

Justin Bieber and James Corden won us over with their hilarious Carpool Karaoke act on The Late Late Show earlier this year, and they're at it again!

On Thursday the duo went shopping at Maxfield, and while it looks like Bieber is slapping Corden around in the pic above, it turns out he was playing bodyguard for the day and protecting the comedian's face. We can't wait to see how all that unfolded!

Khloe Kardashian is bracing for the inevitable as she remains by the side of her estranged husband, Lamar Odom. Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel on Tuesday, and he's remained at Sunrise Hospital on life support ever since.

"It's hard for Khloé. He is on his last leg," a source tells People. "Everyone wanted to hope for the best, but nothing has changed. Now they are preparing for the worst. Khloe has always loved him. And that has never changed and if he didn't have issues, they would be together. She's devastated."

Kardashian immediately flew to Las Vegas on Tuesday, and she was joined by sister Kim and mom Kris Jenner. The following day the trio was joined by Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. On Thursday a message posted on the family's websites reads, "As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."

Odom's two children, Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13, also broke their silence. "Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends," they said in a statement to CNN. "We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."

Odom's father Joe is also at the hospital, and Khloe flew the former NBA star's kids and ex-girlfriend Liza Morales out from New York so they could be with Odom too.

Kris Jenner, and her daughters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, are leaving Lamar Odom's Las Vegas bedside and heading back to Los Angeles. The three members of the celebrity clan made their way out of the hospital and onto a private jet bound for Los Angeles.

We think it's a little odd that all the Kardashian/Jenner's seem to be jumping ship and aren't staying around for Khloe -- we think it's possible that the coven of women wanted to give Khloe some private time with Lamar's two children who just flew in to Las Vegas to be with their father.

A source told Us Weekly on Thursday afternoon that Lamar's condition did not seem to be improving. “Lamar's condition has not changed. They still can't tell what kind of brain damage he has. There's still brain swelling. They are waiting for the organs to start working again — his kidneys are still in dialysis.”

On Tuesday afternoon, the NBA player was found unconscious at the Love Ranch South brothel in Pahrump, Nev. The brothel's owner, Dennis Hof, told Us Weekly the NBA player first arrived at the brothel on Saturday but was found unconscious by two women, Ryder Cherry and Madison, in a VIP suite at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday and called 911. The mag is reporting that the two left him to sleep at 6 AM.

TMZ is reporting that Lamar has a 50/50 chance of surviving and may suffer brain damage as a result of mixing cocaine and at least 10 different types of sexual performance enhancers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lamar and Khloe.

UPDATE: The Kardashians have arrived back in Los Angeles. They had a police escort as each woman separately drove out of the private airport in Van Nuys, Calif. Kourtney drove out in a black Mercedes, Kim was in the passenger seat of an Audi and Mama Jenner drove her Rolls Royce. Of course each lady's car was black -- so it's hard to distinguish one from the other, but they're all definitely there!

It's being reported that Kim had to fly back to Los Angeles to see a pregnancy specialist. The plan is to fly back to being with Khloe and Lamar this weekend, says TMZ.
