Was he crying because he misses Selena Gomez or because he hasn't performed on a stage this big in several years? We'll never know, but you can't help but feel for Justin Bieber after watching this clip of his performance at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards!
Bieber started his set by singing "Where Are U Now," and after being hoisted up into the air in a harness while performing his new single, “What Do You Mean?†he was set back down on the stage. The pop superstar then covered his face with his hands and started sobbing! Even host Miley Cyrus didn't know what to say, but she tried to cover things up by ripping more clothes off and telling the Biebs to "call her."
As for Selena, she reportedly was ON HER PHONE during Bieber's performance, and right before he wrapped things up, the singer and her friends conveniently exited the venue. Hmm, think they had a heads up on the crying bit? If so, that means the whole thing was faked...

On Sunday night Kanye West was honored with MTV's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, but before he took the stage to accept the trophy, he got loose to The Weeknd's "I Can't Feel My Face." Like, really loose!
And if the clip above wasn't enough to make you laugh, keep reading! While taking the stage to accept the award, Kanye mused about fatherhood, awards shows and then he dove straight into politics. "I know y'all might be thinking, 'Did he smoke something before he came out here? And the answer is yes, I did roll a little something," he continued. "I have decided in 2020 to run for president."

Nicki Minaj ripped Miley Cyrus a new one onstage at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday while accepting the award for Best Hip Hop Video. After thanking her fans, Nicki boldly stated, “And now back to this b*tch that had a lot to say about me in the press. Miley, what’s good?†She then mouthed, “Don’t play with me, b*tch!†Cyrus's reply? “Hey, we are all in this industry and we all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate sh*t," she said. "Nicki, congratuf*cklations.â€
So why did Nicki have her panties in a bunch? After the rapper/singer got into a minor feud with Taylor Swift earlier this month, Miley came to Taylor's defense. Of course, Nicki and Taylor had already sorted things out, so it seems like Miley wasn't aware of that. Last month, Nicki had some thoughts after learning that she wasn't in the running for the Video of the Year category. "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year. I'm not always confident. Just tired. Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it,†she tweeted. Swift then thought the comment was about her nomination, and she replied to Nicki, "I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.." Of course, the ladies then made nice, and they even shared the stage tonight when they performed.
What did Miley say to tick off Nicki? She told the NY Times, “If you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and I would respect your statement. But I don’t respect your statement because of the anger that came with it. And it’s not anger like, ‘Guys, I’m frustrated about some things that are a bigger issue.’ You made it about you. Not to sound like a bitch, but that’s like, ‘Eh, I didn’t get my VMA.' What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind. It’s not very polite."
We have to say, Miley totally looks like she's shaking in her hooker boots!
When it was announced that Taylor was the winner, Kanye pretended to storm the stage, only to sit right back down. When she started speaking, he pretended to take a nap. Oh Yeezy.
Of course, Taylor will be presenting the Vanguard Award to Kanye later this evening, so we're curious to see if she punks him...

Britney Spears hasn't always had the best time at the MTV Video Music Awards, but this year she's back on top!
Brit Brit hit the red carpet in a boobilicious gold dress, and she presented the Best Male Video award to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars for their collab on “Uptown Funk.â€
Host Miley Cyrus introduced Britney, calling the pop superstar one of her go-to people for advice. Aww! But when Britney was at the podium, she took a bit of a swipe at Taylor Swift when she joked, “Okay, Miley, to be fair, I think it was [Taylor] who was calling me." Of course Brit then gave T Swiz and Nicki Minaj major props on their opening performance, so we hardly think there's any bad blood between the ladies...
Taylor Swift hit the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet with pals Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne, and the ladies all looked incredible when they struck a pose. Taylor opened the show with Nicki Minaj, and the ladies coordinated with sexy red outfits when they took the stage by storm. In case you missed that, check out the video below!
Even though Kanye West is being honored with the MTV Video Vanguard Award tonight, Kylie Jenner is clearly more excited about attending the MTV VMAs than anyone else in the Kardashian-Jenner family! Based on the clips we've seen of Kim sitting in the audience, she already looks exhausted, and while Kourtney looks great, we have a feeling she's stressed to the max after kicking Scott Disick to the curb. Kris probably won't make it past 10pm, and since Kendall is in NYC and we have no idea where Khloe is, that leaves Kylie and her boyfriend Tyga.
Tyga isn't nominated for anything, but we're sure he loved sitting in the A-list section with Kimye! Of course, we're curious to see what happens if and when Kylie bumps into Tyga's ex Blac Chyna, who's been palling around with Kanye's former flame Amber Rose:
And by works it, we mean Miley Cyrus barely put any clothes on and she shook her booty for photographers. Are you surprised?!
Miley is hosting the MTV Video Music Awards tonight, and the show promises to deliver "an unforgettable night of music and moments" according to a press release. We've already seen Miley's naked ass a million times, so what else does the network have lined up?
Nicki Minaj will open the show with Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Demi Lovato, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Pharrell Williams are all slated to perform. Stars like Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez and Amber Rose have been waltzing down the red carpet, so this might just be the most star-studded VMAs ever!
