Katie Holmes covers February's Red magazine, and the 36-year-old actress opens up about work and social media and insists she hasn't changed much over the years. "I’m not so different than I was at 20," she says of her Dawson's Creek days. "I still buy too many jeans… I don’t stay stuck on anything too long. I mean, like, any emotion."

On social media:

"I think that it's a very interesting time for artists right now because of social media and camera phones. I don't think you ever know how you'll be portrayed. Any story can attach itself to your image. I don't pay much attention because I'd spend the whole time worrying. I just don't go out much to avoid it."

So what does she look for these days when she's booking gigs? Holmes modestly says doesn't have "a lot of choice in the matter" when it comes to booking gigs, and she takes "opportunities when they come."

"Women are complicated, in a beautiful way, and they have lots of different roles," she added. "I'm inspired by the community of women it takes to help one woman succeed. It's important to be supportive and have people you can call at 3am. I have a group of friends I call, and my sisters. If I'm thinking about my sister, she will end up calling me. It's weird. Telepathic."

Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello are engaged, E! News confirms.

Joe popped the question on Christmas Day in Hawaii, and while the two have only been dating since July, a source tells the site, "I've never seen two people so truly in love. The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It's incredible." Awww!

Vergara, 42, was previously engaged to Nick Loeb, and less than two months after they split in May 2014, Sofia was linked to Joe. The engagement rumors started swirling earlier this month when they were spotted jewelry shopping in Los Angeles, and given how lovey dovey they've been since going public with their romance earlier this year, this doesn't come as much of a surprise. Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder attended the Los Angeles Lakers Game at the Staples Center on Sunday night, and we swear, these two always look like they coordinate their outfits! And does Ian own any other fedoras?

After dumping Nina Dobrev earlier this year, Ian started dating her close pal Nikki, who is presumably Nina's former friend now. From romantic weekend getaways to dinner dates, these two certainly don't show any signs of slowing down, and just a few days ago he posted a selfie of the two at a ski resort in Idaho and wrote, “No filter for this sunny Sun Valley day of awesomeness with my loves, the incredible @iamnikkireed and my brother @nathanaugustreed."

Dobrev understandably wants less screen time with Somerhalder on The Vampire Diaries, and this fall there were reports that she was planning on leaving the show. “Nina has been going to different premieres and been hanging out in Hollywood taking meetings because she wants to expand her career and move on from Vampire Diaries,” a source told HollywoodLife. “As for Nikki and Ian’s relationship being the main reason, that would be only the reason to speed up things, but not the main thing, she just wants to grow as an actress."

Shia LaBeouf and girlfriend Mia Goth shopped at Barnes and Noble in the valley over the weekend, and we're not sure which books the actor picked up, but he'll certainly be busy reading this winter.

Seeing as he was arrested just six months ago for disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment after a meltdown at a Broadway performance of “Cabaret," he's come quite a long way. Earlier this fall, the former child actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and gave a long-winded explanation of what really happened on his now-infamous drunken evening in the Big Apple, and he has since apologized to the police officers he spat on -- and been spotting carrying the Alcoholics Anonymous blue book.

"Man, I went through like an existential crisis," he told Ellen DeGeneres in October. "Which turned into some explorations. I had some hiccups, some judgment errors." Shia added that jail helped scare him straight, and that it was his mom who really helped him see what he needed to do. Maybe Mia should get a little credit?

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown slammed rumors that husband Stephen Belafonte abused her when she uploaded the above photo on Instagram last night.

On Sunday Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid arrived in the UAE, and lucky for us, the ladies posted snapshots of their adventures (and some party pics).

Dubai's Qbara Restaurant is having a New Year's Eve bash hosted by Dubai's Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing, and Kendall, Selena and Gigi (along with Gigi's bf Cody Simpson and Shay Mitchell) are some of the celebrities set to attend the event.

Selena posted a shot of the trio and wrote, "Pashminas and candles under the stars," so it appears as though any beef over the Biebs has been resolved. Kendall and Gigi posted some beautiful photos from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, including the one below:

Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz welcomed their second son on Saturday, and she posted the photo below of her newborn baby's footprints -- and his very unique name!

Genesis Ali Dean was born at 1:52 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and the 33-year-old singer wrote alongside the picture, "The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!! we are so grateful!! #blessings!!"

Keys and Beatz announced they they were expecting in July via Instagram. The two got married in August 2010 and welcomed son Egypt two months later.

Keys appeared on The View and confirmed that she was expecting at the end of December and added, "Being a mother has definitely given me more of a fierceness and an understanding of just what I believe in, that much more."
