Yaaaa, Queen! This year's Met Gala was MADE for Lady Gaga and she didn't disappoint! If the flamboyant singer had done anything less, it would have been a let down, but she proved she understands camp, loves it, and DEFINES it!
The singer ditched her
A Star Is Born serious persona and went back to original Gaga style for the "Camp" theme and she was on point! She stripped through four outfits by designer Brandon Maxwell -- starting out with a voluminous pink gown, ditching that for what appeared to be a black crinoline underneath but was actually a full-on dress accessorized with a black umbrella, ripping that off to reveal a Madonna-style pink column dress with brick phone accessory, then
really stripping down to a revealing black lingerie with fishnets. And it was all a performance piece, living art, fabulous!

Over-the-top Kardashian style! Let's face it, this family's used to being over-the-top so the Met's Costume Institute Gala's "Camp" theme was hardly a challenge for them!
Kim and Kylie both wore transparent looks, of course, showing off their impossible curves. Kim's hair was wet and her dress was sequined and sparkly gold on the few parts where it wasn't see-through. Kanye apparently didn't feel like submitting to the theme so he wore an underwhelming black sup-up Carhartt jacket in black with matching black slacks and sneakers. Why go if you aren't going to play along?!
Kylie had a more interesting look in lavender feathers and beds. Her bustier bodysuit had a chain mesh skirt adorned with feathers at the bottom and she wrapped herself up in a matching boa. "Hubby" Travis Scott played along with a flack jacket-style harness over a military-inspired suit with a leather glove on his right arm.
Kendall Jenner's the model in the family, so of course she looked stunning. Her bright orange feathers competed somewhat with sis Kylie, but at the same time, they complemented each other. Her nude bodice was sexy and her dress, slinky and we loved it!
Mama Kris wore a crazy winged, floor-length coat with a navy blue jumpsuit and topped it off with a platinum bobbed wig. Her escort Corey Gamble wore a tux with too-short sleeves, shirt cuffs exposed and a silk ribbon tie. Theirs wasn't our favorite look of the night, to say the least ...
Then, after the party it's the after-party and that's where the real fun kicked in. The family seemed to have a "wet" theme, as Kim's look included turquoise and tinsel that made her look like she'd just walked out of the water -- a literal silver tinsel wig on her head. Kylie switched to teal hair and kept some feathers for her skinny, floor-length dress that was obviously mermaid-inspired.
Anna Wintour and the Met had a GREAT idea with their "Camp" theme -- what a fun night!

In OTHER royal baby news ... did Kim and Kanye welcome baby #4 the same day as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry?!
Kardashian-watchers are speculating that the couple's gestational surrogate may have given birth, given Kanye's text to his wife which she posted on Instagram this morning (above). He wrote: "This is your life / Married with four kids / Get people out of jail / Cover of Vogue / Go to church every week with your family / Dreams come true." That is SO sweet! Kanye just got us with this one ...
But back to baby talk -- he wrote, "Married with four kids." Does that mean Mr. and Mrs. West's little boy has already arrived???
Speaking of babies who've arrived -- Amy Schumer welcomed her first child with hubby Chris Fischer which she revealed on Instagram with a pic of her cuddling her new bundle of joy, who, she wrote, was born at 10:55pm last night. Congrats all around!

Finally, some kind words from Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle's dad Thomas! After a long-running rift in the family, the royal's father if putting out good words in honor of the occasion of the birth of his grandson.
He told the
Mirror in a statement: "I’m delighted to hear that mother and child are doing well. I am proud that my new grandson is born into the British royal family and I am sure that he will grow up to serve the crown and the people of Britain with grace, dignity, and honor. God bless the child and I wish him health and happiness, and my congratulations to my lovely daughter Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry, and God save the Queen."
God save the Queen, indeed!
Moving on ... Meghan's ex-husband Trevor Engelson isn't thinking happy thoughts, according to a source ... "Trevor doesn’t really think about Meghan, as he’s in a very happy relationship and about to be married,†a source tells
Us Weekly. “He will not be reaching out to congratulate them, as Meghan and Trevor no longer speak." HARSH!
Meanwhile, Meghan's mother Doria Ragaland is at Frogmore Cottage with the couple, tending to her new grandson. The Palace released a statement on her behalf saying she is "overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild." Sweet!
Meghan and Harry will first present their son to the world in "two days' time," as Harry told the media this morning outside Frogmore when he updated on his wife and baby. We can't wait!

Lady Gaga is going back to her roots! The eccentric singer attended a pre-Met Gala dinner party wearing a huge black and white, tiered, ruffled dress from Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2019 runway collection, accessorized with a big feather-topped fascinator.
Gone are the days of the actress Stephani Germanotta, back is big, loud, crazy Gaga!
Gaga took the upcoming Met Gala's "Camp" theme to new heights, literally, with her vertically and altitudinally-impressive get up. Marc Jacobs himself even celebrated the look in this Instagram post reading, "It’s (pre) SHOW TIME! And, who better to kick things off than the Lady herself. He speaks! Prince Harry gave a brief interview to the media after the birth of his son with Meghan Markle this morning and he said it like a true first-time dad! "Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning — a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. This has been the most amazing experience I could possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we are both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everyone out there. It’s been amazing. So we just wanted to share this with everybody."
He went on to say: "I haven’t been in many births. This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible. As I said, I am so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon."
Awwww! We love Harry! And we can't wait to see little Harry, Jr.!

It's a BOY! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their first child together and it's a bouncing bundle of joy boy!
Royal watchers have been anticipating this day since it was announced Markle was pregnant with the next royal family member and while Meghan and Harry have told the world they want to share this together privately and that they won't pose for photos as they leave the hospital, they have at least shared the happy news that the baby is born and mom and child are happy and healthy.
The pair announced on Instagram: "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."
Kensington Palace posted this statement: "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526hrs. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news. The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."
We hope to learn the name soon and get a photo in the not-too-distant future!

So sweet! Kim Kardashian is anticipating the birth of baby #4 and feeling motherly ... she posted this cute snap of son Saint, 3, kissing her little sis Chicago, 15 months.
Of course the kids were decked out in Yeezy -- including little Chicago's Waverunners -- and Saint's soft tee and sweatshorts.
“My babies are my life!!!! ✨ðŸ¼,†the soon-to-be mother of four captioned the photo.
The mother-of-three is counting the days until the arrival of her fourth child with hubby Kanye West -- as with Chicago, this one is being carried by a gestational surrogate.
Little Nori was missing from the pic, but she got an Instagram post of her own the other day, with mom Kim praising her 5 1/2-year-old daughter's style.
She wrote: "I didn’t think my daughters love for my clothes and jewelry would happen so soon. I’ll literally be working and come home to find North dressed up in all of my things."
Baby #4 will balance out the genders -- the boy will make it two-and two for Kim and Kanye. Kim was recently thrown a baby shower with light blue decor revealing that the fourth (and last, Kim says!) child will be a little boy. So much baby news!
