Two days after Tracy Morgan was involved in a fatal six-car crashed that killed one and injured several passengers, the former SNL actor remains in critical condition but appears to be showing signs of improvement, according to Morgan’s publicist, Lewis Kay.

"While Tracy remains in critical condition, he has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign," Kay said. "He sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He had surgery earlier today on his leg. We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks. His family is tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans."

According to Sgt. Gregory Williams of New Jersey State Police, Morgan’s limo van was hit by a truck on the New Jersey Turnpike at 1 a.m. on Saturday.

The wreck, which killed Morgan's passenger, comedian James McNair, also injured several others, according to officials.

Casper Smart is talking – and what he says is pretty interesting!

On June 8th, The Sun published a story accusing Jennifer Lopez’s boy toy of cheating on Jenny from the Block with transgender model Xristina Marie. During the controversy, Smart has remained mum about the Xristina Marie and another transgender model Sofie Vissa, who alleged she had a sexting relationship with the choreographer. But now Smart is saying that the claims are false.

“There is no truth to any meeting or physical encounter. I am weighing my options on the appropriate action to take against Xristina Marie and/or The Sun,” Smart said to Us Weekly.

He may have denied the sexual relationship – but he certainly isn’t denying the sexting!

We don’t know if there is truth to these accusations or not – but we know that JLo isn’t standing for them. On Friday, Us Weekly reported that the twosome had broken up, and added they've been split for some time now.

We think that Lopez is just trying to save face in light of the controversy -- but that's okay ... JLo can do no wrong in our eyes!

Despite the split, it looks like the Lopez isn't being entirely bitter. The 44-year-old isn't gifting her ex cash, ala Simon Cowell, but apparently her younger man can keep the motorcycles, jeep and Dodge Ram truck that the Wedding Planner star gifted him during their relationship, reports TMZ.

On Sunday, our photogs caught Smart leaving Lopez's Los Angeles house on the Kawasaki Ninja she gave him. Life doesn't seem too bad for JLo's ex!

Rihanna had a most unlikely dinner date last night ... with Gwyneth Paltrow's estranged hubby, Chris Martin!

The consciously-uncoupled Coldplay frontman and the sexy pop star arrived, separately, around 9pm and stayed for 2 hours! And catch this ... X17 can report exclusively, that Gwyneth had just headed to LAX for a flight to London before Chris jumped in his Jeep, headed for dinner with Rihanna at her favorite spot, Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

Our photographer tells us the two were quite cozy during dinner: "They were leaning in to each other, laughing and being flirty. Rihanna kept pushing her hair out of her face and Chris appeared to be almost whispering in her ear."

The pair had a corner table to the Italian hotspot -- Rihanna's a regular at the restaurant. She toned down her usual over-the-top fashion and opted for a black sweater with ruffled sleeves and black pants with heels. Chris wore a tee-shirt and jeans.

Our shooter commented, "They looked cute together - maybe they're working on a new project; maybe they're trying to make certain people [Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow] jealous or maybe they're actually dating. I was surprised to see them together!"

Jennifer Lopez certainly isn't down in the dumps over her recent break up from choreographer Casper Smart! Over the weekend the 44-year-old singer/actress attended an event for her new album, and she Instagrammed the pic above and wrote, "The countdown is on!!! 10 days until #JLoAKA album release."

"Jennifer was in a great mood and really happy with the reception to the new music! People loved it," a source at the event told Us Weekly. "She was really happy. She has been so focused on launching this album and feeling really great."

After several websites claimed that Smart was fooling around with transsexual models earlier this month, a source told the mag on Friday that Lopez and Smart had split after two and a half years together. The source denies that Casper's alleged infidelity was to blame, adding, "The scandal had nothing to do with it. He insists none of that is true and she believes him."

"It has actually been an amicable process that started a few months ago," an insider tells Us. "It wasn't an easy decision, but they decided to stay friends ... Their relationship couldn't work with the distance. He started trying to establish his own life and career, and she is so focused on hers, and they just couldn't be all about each other anymore."
