Zac Efron covers the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter, and the 26-year-old star chats about his new movie, Neighbors, but most of the interview is spent talking about his recent personal struggles, specifically with substance abuse.

Efron opens up about his fight with a homeless man in downtown Los Angeles, and he says, "I was drinking a lot, way too much," acknowledging that there were drugs, too. "It's never one specific thing. I mean, you're in your 20s, single, going through life in Hollywood, you know? Everything is thrown at you."

So what's Zac's interpretation of events?

"I had a friend come pick me up late at night—we were looking for a place downtown to get a bite and catch up," he says. "We were having trouble finding somewhere...and the car ran out of gas off the 110. It was ridiculous. We had to pull over, and I called Uber [car service]. A homeless guy, or vagrant, tapped on the driver's-side window. Before I knew it, [my friend] was out of the car, and they started fighting. I saw that [the homeless man] was carrying some sort of a knife, or shank, and I got out of the car to disarm him. At some point, he dropped the knife, and I got hit pretty hard in the face—and almost instantly the police were there to break up the fight."

Though he had reportedly gone to rehab twice last year, he clearly wasn't taking his sobriety seriously, but he insists he is now. Zac says he's joined Alcoholics Anonymous and added that he's been seeing a therapist. "I just started going," he says. "And I think it's changed my life. I'm much more comfortable in my own skin. Things are so much easier now." Still, "it's a never-ending struggle."

"It's impossible to lead an honest and fulfilling life as a man and not make mistakes and 'fess up to them when you need to," he says. "But it's especially humiliating when they happen to be so public and so scrutinized ... At the same time, I'm a human being, and I've made a lot of mistakes. I've learned from each one."

So what is Zac doing these days to stay on track? He says he exercises daily (obviously!), eats healthy and goes to bed by 9pm. "I sit here in front of you today much happier and healthier than I've probably ever been," he concluded.

Selena Gomez reportedly "flipped out" when she discovered Kylie Jenner was texting boyfriend Justin Bieber behind her back, Hollywood Life reports.

The "Come & Get It" singer unfollowed the reality star and her sister Kendall on Instagram and cut them out of her friend group after discovering texts and photos from Kylie on The Biebs' cell.

"Kylie sent sexy pics of herself to Justin and that’s what started the fight. Selena saw the pictures on Justin’s phone and she freaked out and left immediately," a source told the site.

"Selena flipped out and there was a huge fight between the girls. She now wants nothing to do with Kylie or [her sister] Kendall," another source told Radar.

Depending of who you believe, the feud might already be over, though!

"Selena has no issues with the Jenner girls. They had an issue but they have cleared it up. She has always liked the Jenner girls. They had been fans of Selena since they were young," a source countered to Us.

At first we thought V. Stiviano was a bit eccentric but the more we see Donald Sterling's visor-clad ex mistress out, we're pretty sure she's full-on koo koo kachoo.

Clearly trying to keep a low profile amid the current media frenzy surrounding her, the Stiviano ventured out of her Los Angeles home for a night on the town. The visor queen was spotted (because how could she not be?) with rapper Kurupt while dining at Pips in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the day, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver held a press conference and announced that Sterling was suspended from the NBA "forever" and fined $2.5 million. Almost immediately after the news broke, the disgraced owner's former fling blasted Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love" from her apartment and then cruised around her neighborhood on a pair of roller skates (totally normal when a bunch of photogs are cataloging your every move, right?). After that she changed into a matching yellow ensemble, complete with a baseball hat bearing her name and headed out for the night.

V. still has yet to comment about the racist remarks Sterling made during an argument with her (which she allegedly leaked to the press), because she's clearly way too classy for that (aka still waiting for her pay day).

Josh Hartnett has a premium cable show to promote appears in the new issue of Details magazine, and he chats about his new series Penny Dreadful, why he left Hollywood for a while and he even opens up about his love life. Finally!

On stepping away from the limelight at the height of his career, Josh says:

"I was on the cover of every magazine. I couldn't really go anywhere. I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin. I was alone. I didn't trust anyone. So I went back to Minnesota and got back together with my old friends—ended up getting back together with my high-school girlfriend for a while—and I didn't do any filming for 18 months. I'm still finding my way through all that."

When he came back to the biz, he was no longer being handed roles, but he claims he likes it that way:

"I still get offered films and TV roles, luckily, but years ago, if I saw a role I wanted, there was a good chance I could grab it. When I see a role now, I've got to fight for it. It's not bad. It's actually more rewarding. Depressing when something doesn't go your way, but only for a minute."

So just what kinds of roles was he getting offered when he was one of Hollywood's hottest young stars?

"Spider-Man was something we talked about. Batman was another one. But I somehow knew those roles had potential to define me, and I didn't want that. I didn't want to be labeled as Superman for the rest of my career. I was maybe 22, but I saw the danger ... I didn't have [my] agents for much longer after that. There was a lot of infighting between my manager and agents, trying to figure out who to put the blame on. It got to the point where none of us were able to work together."

Hartnett, who has been romantically linked to starlets like Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller and Amanda Seyfried, admits that he still gets nervous asking girls out, and he claims he's not a player. "If you're a ladies' man, that's what you do with your life—always chasing," he says. "That's never been the case with me. I've always just wanted a relationship. Otherwise there's nothing. The scene can eat you up. It's eaten up enough of my life already."

On Tuesday night several mutual pals of The Game and T.I. were denied entrance at Supperclub in Hollywood, and after the men argued with security, punches were thrown and it became an all-out brawl.

Club security reportedly beat up two men, and at one point one individual was kicked in the face while he was on the ground. TMZ reports that LAPD officers were on the scene at one point during the fight, and there were also off-duty officers working at the club. The two men were taken to LAPD's Hollywood station, but no charges were filed so they left.

For whatever reason, T.I. and Game thought police had beaten up their friends, and things were tense for a few minutes while the rappers got into it with the cops. Neither of them have made statements on the matter, so it looks like it wasn't that big of a deal, but still!

We snapped some photos of the guys before the violence broke out and everyone was in a great mood -- it's too bad unnecessary violence like this can totally ruin everyone's night.

British actor Bob Hoskins has passed away at the age of 71, following a bout with pneumonia. Two years ago the Who Framed Roger Rabbit star retired from film after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

The actor's last film was Snow White and the Huntsman, released in 2012.

His second wife Linda and children Alex, Sarah, Rosa and Jack gave a statement: "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Bob. Bob died peacefully at hospital last night surrounded by family, following a bout of pneumonia."

Hoskins was born in October 1942 in the English town of Bury St. Edmunds to parents Elsie, a nursery school teacher and cook, and Robert, who was a truck driver and worked as a book keeper.

Other than Roger Rabbit, Hoskins is known for his many film and TV roles including Maid in Manhattan, Spice World, Mermaids, Hook, Super Mario Bros. and many more.

It must be getting close!

Kim Kardashian jetted to Paris yesterday for a last minute dress fitting at Balmain, and the reality star must have wanted some additional input, because she brought along pal Serena Williams for the try-on session!

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is rumored to be tying the knot with Kanye West this week in a private civil ceremony ahead of their lavish May 24 nuptials in Paris, but the couple would have to be in the same place for that to happen! Yeezy jetted to San Francisco yesterday, but maybe they both plan on making it back to L.A. in the next couple days?

We are dying to know what this wedding gown is going to look like! The brunette bombshell is obsessed with attention, so we have no doubt she's looking to make a statement with her bridal ensemble!

It has not been a good month for her!

Naya Rivera has been fired from Glee after she "went off" on producers during an argument, The New York Daily News reports. Not only was her contract for season six not renewed, but she has reportedly been written out of the season five finale!

The 27-year-old actress wasn't just experiencing problems with the executives, either!

The brunette beauty recently got into a cat fight with co-star Lea Michele after she claimed she was a diva who held up filming. "Naya is jealous that Lea is the show's main star," a source dished to Us Weekly.

She should have known you can't bite the hand that feeds you!
