Wow! Josh Brolin just opened up about his tumultuous youth which included being in a surf gang and trying heroin.

The 46-year-old revealed in an interview with the Guardian that he was once a member of a surf gang called the Cito Rats.

"It was Santa Barbara. It was the 80s. It was punk rock. … You either had the children of rich, neglectful parents or children of poor, neglectful parents, so it was a mix. But we basically grew up the same way. I've never seen a group like that before or since."

Being in the gang eventually led Brolin down a dangerous path, including drug use and stealing cars to pay for drugs.

"I tried heroin," Brolin said. "That sounds so horrible when you put it like that. But yeah, I tried heroin. I mean, I never got into it and I never died from it, which is a good thing. I've had 19 friends who died. Most of those guys I grew up with, they're all dead now."

The Labor Day actor admits that although he tried it, he never got into the drug. "I used to think you should try to deconstruct everything. Experience everything, " he said. "Just get yourself out there. But I don't believe that any more. Having adventures is all very well, but an imagination can make up for all that. That's the more intelligent way to be. And it keeps you out of harm's way."

While hard drugs weren't a problem -- it's clear that other substances have been. On Jan. 1, 2013, the No Country for Old Men star was reportedly arrested for public intoxication and subsequently his nine-year marriage to Diane Lane ended.

Speaking of the divorce, Brolin said, "Well, it was another turning point." The actor continued, "It made me think of a lot of things. My mom dying when I was in my 20s. All the impact that had on me that I hadn't moved past; I was always such a momma's boy. But I realized that I was on a destructive path. I knew that I had to change and mature. It was like I stepped back and saw the hamster wheel."

Allegedly, Brolin entered a rehab facility in November for substance abuse and has been putting his focus on sobriety.

On Thursday Josh Duhamel grabbed a cup of coffee in Brentwood, and we're not sure if the actor is growing out his beard for a role or if he's just been lazy about shaving, but we're loving the scruff!

The 41-year-old star recently opened up to ABC News about parenthood, and he can't stop gushing about his 6-month-old son Axl Jack! "He's got this little car that was given to us as a gift, like a little walker, a little Ferrari," Josh said. "He loves that thing. I guess it's some sort of independence that he has, he just cruises around the house and explores."

"He's eating real foods, he's holding his own bottle," he added. "All those things that are boring if you don't have a kid, but if you have a kid, it's like 'Wow, he's a genius!'"

Taylor Swift is up for two big ACM Awards this year, and while she's probably going to win anyway, she made a hilarious for your consideration video with Big Machine Records founder Scott Borchetta.

Borchetta calls Swift, but she puts him on hold so she can paint her nails and gab with a gal pal about boy problems. "We were done, and then like a week later, they got together and that's like a few weeks ago and now they're in Italy," her friend lamented. "That's a big jump! That's a little fast, and I'm saying that," Swift said. "You need to put his name in your phone as a weird word that's unattractive like 'grundle.'" Um, does she know what a grundle is? Either way, the crack she made about her own dating history made us laugh!

After touching on male anatomy and her highly-publicized love life, the video went the crazy cat lady route when Borchetta said, "If I didn't know better, I'd say she's playing with that f*cking cat!" We then see Swift picking up her adorable feline Meredith and she coos, "Where's the princess of Kitty Town? Who's a pretty kitty? You are! You're the prettiest kitty in the world."

Katy Perry hid her face from awaiting shutterbugs in West Hollywood yesterday, and since she looked like she had just come from the gym, we can't exactly blame her!

It's nice to see that the singer is healing from her split from John Mayer by engaging in healthy activities, rather than hitting the town and partying it up!

The "Roar" chanteuse is getting ready for her big Prism tour, but sadly she won't be joined by teenage sensation Lorde.

"In the really early stages of an artist's career it's important for them to establish themselves for themselves. I'm just basically really stubborn and I want to be really independent. So I want to be headlining my own shows instead of supporting someone else, which I think is fair enough," the 17-year-old told Australian radio station Kiss 1065.

We think KP should invite her pal Rihanna to make some guest appearances at her concerts!

What does the Queen of Shock get for the audience who's seen everything? A "vomit painter" of course!

Lady Gaga raised eyebrows and gag reflexes when she had "vomit painter" Millie Brown while performing her song "Swine" on the Doritos #BoldStage at the SXSW music festival on Thursday.

Also what's a "vomit painter" anyway? Does one go to RISD for that? Do you have to study the great works of Picasso, Van Gogh and some sorority girl who just ran to the bathroom after drinking too many Long Island iced teas?

During the song, Brown gulps down a green liquid then stands over a kneeling Gaga, then the artist sticks her fingers down her throat and proceeds to throw up all over the singer. It's gross to say the least.

We know that Gaga is a performer who loves to push the limits -- but this is just too much. We just ate breakfast! What's next? Gaga taking a dump on stage?! Let's hope not.

In addition to her throw-up filled tune, the "Do What U Want" singer did an hour-long set, which featured "Bad Romance," "Applause," "Manicure" and other ARTPOP songs.

We aren't sure our eyes will ever be okay after seeing what we just saw -- but have fun watching!

Not only did Scarlett Johansson show off her famous curves at the Captain America: The Winter Soldier premiere in Hollywood last night, but we also got our first peek at the starlet's baby bump!

Less than two weeks ago it was reported that Johansson and fiance Romain Dauriac were expecting their first child together, and the duo announced their engagement back in September. So what did ScarJo have to say about walking down the aisle when she sat down with Access Hollywood the other day? “Oh, I don’t plan anything. I’m terrible at planning,” she said. “Yeah, I’m not gonna plan anything – I like to wing it!”

However, she's a bit more on top of things when it comes to her fitness. When asked about getting in shape for her role as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, she reveals that it was "boring" but it was hard work. “Salad and chicken and, you know, nothing else, pretty much,” she said with a laugh. “It’s that old tried and true ‘work out like a dude and eat like a rabbit’ [plan].”

Bruce Jenner went to lunch with his son Brandon on Thursday as his estranged wife Kris grabbed a bite with rumored boyfriend Ben Flajnik.

What's even sadder? Bruce chowed down on a Chipotle burrito while Kris enjoyed sushi. The two separated in October after 22 years of marriage and two children together.

Bruce, who usually lets his locks loose, tied his hair in a ponytail behind a white cap during the outing in Malibu. His son, on the other hand, styled his long mane in a bun.

Bruce's look has been evolving rapidly of late. The reality star reportedly reduced the size of his Adam's apple and has been embroiled in rumors about an upcoming sex change operation.

Maybe the former Olympian is trying to win back Kris with his long hair by reminding her who she fell in love with. She must have a thing for luscious locks as Ben has messy long hair as well.
