Retail therapy is the best way to blow off some steam!

Denise Richards went shopping at Fred Segal in West Hollywood yesterday with daughters Sam and Eloise, and the actress seemed happy and carefree despite all the drama that's going on in her personal life!

Until recently, the mother-of-three was caring for ex-husband Charlie Sheen's twin boys with Brooke Mueller, but things have gone south since she gave up custody. Specifically, Bob and Max's troubled mother has made child abuse accusations against the Wild Things star, so now Denise has to meet with social workers from the Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services to fight back against the claims.

"It has been alleged that Denise not only physically abused the children, but neglected them as well. This is being taken very seriously by Denise. To say she is upset and disgusted by Brooke's actions [is] an understatement," a source told Radar.

Between an exemplary parent and a drug addict, we have to side with Miss Richards on this one!

This is so disappointing! We have been waiting for the "epic takedown" forever! After battling it out with Vanity Fair for months, it appears as if Gwyneth Paltrow has won her one-woman war against the mag, which will now be foregoing it's previously planned "epic takedown" of the actress in lieu of doing a much "softer" piece. Allegedly, the 41-year-old Oscar winner has been waging a coup against the publication, urging her A-list friends to boycott the mag, since finding out that Graydon Carter's publication was forging ahead with a scathing in-depth profile on her. The campaign seems to have paid off because the magazine is now doing a much lighter piece, reports RadarOnline.com.

"Whatever they wind up publishing, it’s going to be soft," a source told Radar. "Gwyneth’s campaign against the Vanity Fair article has apparently worked and she’s not as worried as she was three weeks ago."

Oh come on VF, this is so disappointing! How could you give into Gwynnie's demands like that?! We thought we didn't negotiate with terrorists!

Gwyneth and Vanity Fair first locked horns earlier this year when the actress refused to let them do a feature on her. Subsequently, the mag opted to go in a different direction and write an explosive expose, which allegedly uncovered an affair between the "Seven" actress and Elle Macpherson’s billionaire husband Jeff Soffer.

But it appears as though the public skewering of Lady Goop will never see the light of day. Awesome. We're just so glad that an overly entitled actress can use her overly entitled powers to strong arm a major publication into changing their article. We're just so glad that a woman who basically doesn't seem to think poor people exist was able to use her celebrity status to quell the storm of her own making. And we're just so glad Vanity Fair let her do all that. Kudos to all in this situation -- because we're sure Gwynniepants never gets her own way.

Now we kind of want to boycott Graydon Carter's mag -- just for giving in!

How absolutely tasteless! On Thursday, authorities arrested a man suspected of allegedly stealing a piece of the wreckage from Paul Walker and friend Roger Rodas' fatal car crash on Saturday.

A police report from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Rodas' states that after the deadly crash, the wrecked Porsche Carrera GT was "transported to the impound yard for further investigation" -- and while the tow truck driver was stopped at a red light, a man in a vehicle behind the truck got out of his car and took a piece of the Porsche that walker died in.

The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old James Witty by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's detectives. The authorities took Witty into custody at his home on Thursday and recovered the stolen piece, described as "red, T-top roof panel" from the wrecked 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, at a different residence in Canyon Country, Calif.

Officials have identified a second suspect, who is currently out of state but allegedly making arrangements to surrender himself. Witty was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Station on Thursday. His bail was set at $20,000.

According to the police report, "Sheriff's detectives will meet with the Office of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's for consideration of filing criminal charges of felony Grand Theft...and Tampering with Evidence...against both suspects."

The report continues on the death of the 40-year-old actor and his friend, saying, "The investigation of the traffic collision is ongoing."

Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the London premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom on Thursday evening at the Odeon Leicester Square Cinema, and Prince George's parents looked amazing when they posed for pictures on the red carpet.

Middleton wore a longsleeve Roland Mouret gown, and this isn't the first time we've seen her in this stunning dress -- she wore it to a dinner at Claridges in 2012. Not only is she beautiful and down to earth, but we love that she's on the more practical side too...

Prince William reacted to the news of Mandela's passing yesterday, and he told reporters, "It's extremely sad and tragic news, we're just reminded what an extraordinary and inspiring man Nelson Mandela was. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, and with his family right now."

Mrs. Marc Anthony no longer!

Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart grabbed a romantic meal at Craig's in West Hollywood last night, and the couple seem to be going strong, which may explain why Jenny from the Block just filed papers to drop her ex-husband Marc Anthony's last name!

J.Lo submitted documents to request that her legal name be changed from Jennifer Muniz (Anthony's real last name) back to Jennifer Lopez, TMZ reports.

The American Idol judge also requested joint custody of 5-year-old twins Max and Emme, which Anthony did as well in his own papers.

Did she go back to her maiden name in hopes of becoming Mrs. Smart? Based on how happy the pair appears, we wouldn't be the least bit surprised!

Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson must have gotten a babysitter last night, because the couple grabbed a romantic dinner at Cafe Select in the Big Apple and then followed up their meal with a nightcap at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

The mother-of-two must have had an easier time losing the baby weight this time around, because she's already back to her voluptuous pre-pregnancy bod! The blonde businesswoman wore floral leggings, a black top, and knee high leather boots, and it's clear by the way she was dressed that she knows she's got her sexy back!

She is doing her Weight Watchers, and she's gotta be the best walking advertisement for the weight loss company they've ever had!

The power couple started their spree at Real Food Daily in West Hollywood on Tuesday; went to Cafe Gratitude on Wednesday and then we spotted them at Native Foods in Westwood Thursday!

These two sure are looking good -- though, taking to the stage almost every night might have something to do with that. But if their new diet can keep them looking this way, then cheers to quinoa and kale!

After not having been photographed with each other for months and rumors of a breakup running wild, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux emerged from hiding Thursday, to shop for a Christmas tree together in LA.

The couple went to Hollywood's most celebrity-frequented tree lot -- the same spot where all the stars buy pumpkins for Halloween. Despite the popular locale (popular with photographers, too), the couple tried to fly under the radar, with Jen wrapping her face in a teal scarf and Justin pulling up the hood on his black sweatshirt.

The pair made a quick decision at the star-studded tree lot, choosing one of the largest trees, almost 20-feet tall!

And no, they didn't tied it to the roof of their Mercedes, they opted for the delivery service, of course. These two didn't get their hands dirty, they just made a quick trip and went home.

So while some reports claim the two are on the outs, it looks like the affianced couple is still ON. And so is Jen's engagement ring! Why don't they want to be seen together ... or photographed at all? Could it be Jen hiding a baby bump? Justin getting cold feet? Jen unhappy with her new cropped 'do?
