We're not saying anything here, but Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have definitely been spending time apart since they've been back in LA following their vacay in Canada and Hawaii for Christmas and New Year's Eve. In fact ... we don't blame them!

That much time together is challenging for any couple, much less newlyweds and it's totally healthy to take some breathing room following a trip during which you were together 24/7 for two weeks.

Hailey was out running errands yesterday (actually she was doing more than running errands and we've got a gooood exclusive story coming soon ... stay tuned for that!) in a dangerously low-cut blazer with jeans and Chloe high-top sneakers and a somewhat misplaced green beanie. Still, she looks good in anything, but that accessory was a little weird ...

Speaking of weird headgear -- Justin wore a Stetson cowboy hat yesterday but his bottom half looked like LA skateboarder in shorts and Vans, while upstairs was 100% cattle drive!

When Ellen speaks, people listen! But will the Academy?

Ellen DeGeneres invited her pal Kevin Hart on the show and they ended up talking about the Oscars snafu, of course. In case you've forgotten, Hart was fired as host of the show following some old Tweets that were dug up in which he made homophobic comments. Ellen's gay, as we know, and she's one of the most influential people in Hollywood with some major pull ... so if she goes to bat for Hart to be re-invited to host the show after apologizing for the old Tweets, then we think it just might happen.

Hart told Variety just before taping the show that he was "done" with the Oscars but then during the taping, he told Ellen he's "evaluating" the idea. DeGeneres said she made a call to the Academy just before Hart arrived and asked if they'd still have him host: "Kevin’s on, I have no idea if he wants to come back and host, but what are your thoughts?' And they were like, 'Oh my God, we want him to host! We feel like that maybe he misunderstood or it was handled wrong. Maybe we said the wrong thing but we want him to host. Whatever we can do we would be thrilled. And he should host the Oscars."

She went on to say to her audience and to Kevin: "As a gay person, I am sensitive to all of that. You’ve already expressed that it's not being educated on the subject, not realizing how dangerous those words are, not realizing how many kids are killed for being gay or beaten up every day. You have grown, you have apologized, you are apologizing again right now. You’ve done it. Don’t let those people win — host the Oscars."

This is sounding like basically a done deal to us -- it's sounding like a carefully orchestrated PR push to prepare the public for Hart's return. Otherwise, why wouldn't the Academy have found a replacement only two months out?

Meanwhile, some in the LGBT community and otherwise are criticizing Ellen for taking her position. One Twitter comment read, "I feel like if you’re not homophobic anymore, you shouldn’t mind apologizing for your past homophobia again and again and again. I don’t want to hear a hostile retelling of how we didn’t hear your meager apology the first time."

And also: "the people who brought up Kevin Hart's past tweets — like me — were not, as Ellen characterized, "haters." The host of the Oscars had made anti-gay jokes, and LGBT people who love the Oscars were legitimately startled to see just how harsh his words were."

And: "The only thing @KevinHart4real proved by going on Ellen was that he is a terrible actor with zero genuine remorse who didn’t have the decency to address his ignorance. No, they weren’t “haters” who came after you. It was the LGBTQI+ community because we’re sick to sh*t of it."

Okay, you get the idea ... so we wanna hear from YOU! Do YOU think Kevin Hart should (be allowed) to host the Oscars? And is Ellen right for supporting him or not?

This is so sad ... our girl Britney Spears had to make an extremely difficult decision, but we vote to always putting family first and we KNOW her fans will understand!

Brit posted this heartbreaking message on Instagram this morning, explaining why she's put her new Las Vegas residency on indefinite hiatus. Her new show "Domination" was set to run for 32 shows at the Park Theater at the new Park MGM resort beginning February 13. It's unclear whether the shows will be rescheduled; tickets are being refunded at this time.

Britney's message read: "I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say. I will not be performing my new show Domination. I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. However, it’s important to always put your family first… and that’s the decision I had to make. A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you all can understand. More information on ticket refunds is available on britneyspears.com. I appreciate your prayers and support for my family during this time. Thank you, and love you all… always."

Two months ago, Brit's dad Jamie suffered a ruptured colon and was hospitalized for a month.

Early last year, Britney wrapped a four-year run at Planet Hollywood’s Axis Theater; Brit then set off on tour with Pitbull.

MGM Resorts has released a statement about the cancellation, reading: "All of us at MGM Resorts wish Mr. Spears a speedy recovery. We wholly understand and respect Britney’s commitment to her family and believe that her place is with them during this important time."

Seems like Jennifer Garner is ready to move on and move out! The recently-divorced star is ditching her marital home with Ben Affleck and the couple are likely splitting the $32 million they'll pocket from buyers Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo!

The tony, celeb-studded neighborhood of Pacific Palisades will welcome some new neighbors shortly -- the Maroon 5 rocker, his model wife and their two kids. Known for its low-key, family atmosphere, the Palisades is quickly becoming LA's hottest zip code.

The property is 3.1 acres and the home is a whopping 16,000 square feet, including a basketball court, gym, screening room, and art studio. It boasts 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Ben and Jen purchased it from Hollywood producer Brian Grazier in 2009 for $17.5M. The former couple did a lot of renovation, but the home was originally built in the 1930s, so perhaps Jen was ready to get into something newer ...

Theeeeyyyy're baaaaaack!

Mr. and Mrs. Bieber are back in LA after ringing in the new year in Hawaii with their Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz and his wife and some other church pals.

Hailey arrived solo at the Montage Beverly Hills where the couple shares a penthouse residence. She was sporting a Chicago Bulls Starter jacket, black skinny jeans and white Converse high-tops, carrying a black Chanel camera bag.

Meanwhile, we spotted Justin headed to the gym to get his 2019 workout on. It was recently revealed that Justin did, in fact, get a face tattoo -- the word "grace" just above his right eyebrow -- but new intel claims it's disappearing ink! Watch and learn, folks ...

It's over for Gigi and Zayn ... again!

A new report claims the couple have split again, after fans have been speculating for weeks. A source tells Us Weekly Gigi, 23, tried hard to make it work but that Zayn, 25, has lots of his own issues that are challenging enough for him to work through on his own and that he couldn't give what he needed to the relationship.

The pair first hooked up in November 2015 and stayed together for two years -- breaking up last May. The subsequently got back together just two months later and a source told Us, "She’s really turned into a recluse and has been spending all of her time with him. It’s kind of a young love relationship where they’re so infatuated with each other and no one else exists at the moment."

Fans started speculating the couple had split, when they didn't share any photos together over the holidays. It prompted Gigi to Tweet: "I do not owe you myself. I do not owe you any information about me beyond what i choose for you to know. I do not owe you strength when i am weak. I do not owe you answers just because you ask."

Hmmm ... when will she formally address their recent split? Or will Zayn do it first?

Scott Disick is getting daddy-shamed by social media commenters after posting this selfie with daughter Penelope at what appears to be an Asian restaurant (note the chopsticks) in in which the six-year-old is pulling up her eyelids with her fingers.

Now, lots of people say she's probably just making a funny face and some of those commenters actually suggest that people who criticize little Pene are the racist ones -- for reading something into a photo that's just not there.

Scott captioned the pic "Best first date of 2019." Some didn't find it so cute, however ... one commenter wrote: "She's a child but that is an old racist joke and should be corrected the adults have to explain to her why its inappropriate and insensitive, in a cruel way, you're making fun of someone racial trait, it's not cool."

One response in Scott's defense was, "Maybe the child’s tired, maybe they’re trying to be funny. Why is it that the first thing YOU think when YOU look at the picture is that someone’s racist? Don’t be a troll that makes mountains out of ant hills. that’s like, not fetch."

It hasn't been an easy road! Kim and Kanye reported wanted baby #4 to come immediately after daughter Chicago, now 11 months old, was born -- but all did NOT go according to plan ...

Mr. and Mrs. West reportedly waiting until Kanye was in the "best state of mind" before hiring a NEW surrogate and using their second and supposedly last embryo -- a boy. Meaning ... Kanye was NOT in the best state of mind previously -- but then again, we all knew that.

The rapper has been open about his struggle with mental issues including depression and with the anti-depressants he's been prescribed. In fact, he recently broadcast to the world that he's med-free and feeling better than ever and apparently his wife feels he's in a good place because they're on the path to a May birth.

A source tells Us Weekly: "Kanye has been great. He’s been healthy, happy and his head is clear. They are both very excited for this new baby."

And on to the surrogate news -- the pair are using a new surrogate this time -- not the same gestational carrier they used for daughter Chicago. Their previous surrogate was La’Reina Haynes who appeared in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians with her face obscured. She was great, however the birthing agency reportedly let some private details leak and the couple wasn't too happy about it so they are using a new agency and new woman to carry baby #4, according to Us.

The mag reports Kim "always wanted four kids" and that she's ecstatic about making their family six!
