Kelly Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock are expecting their first child together.

"I'm pregnant!!!" the singer tweeted on Tuesday. "Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever."

Clarkson married Blackstock on October 20 in a small ceremony in Tennessee, and she has been very vocal about her desire to have kids immediately. This will be the third child for Blackstock, who has two kids, Savannah and Seth, from a previous marriage.

"I want babies!" Clarkson exclaimed on the radio on Octover 30. "Everybody keeps saying, ‘What do you want for Christmas?' And I'm like, ‘I want to be pregnant.'" Glad she got her wish!

Last Monday Kelly appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, and when asked if she had a bun in the oven, she replied that she wasn't "announcing anything right now" but that the newlyweds were having sex "like rabbits."

"Practice makes perfect!" she told Leno with a laugh. "We do, we do. We're trying, trying, trying. We have two kids, and they're so great. And I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five."

Congrats guys!

While Jen has a fairly minor role in the film, her co-stars Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto are getting some serious Oscar buzz. Can't wait to see this flick...
