Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

Miley Cyrus took a break from twerking to belt out a cover of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" on the BBC Radio1's live lounge today, and we're pretty impressed with her version of the tune!

"Check out my @BBCR1 live lounge cover of Summertime Sadness," the singer tweeted after her performance.

The chart topper did a toned down, acoustic version of the song, and we're so not used to watching her perform without teddy bears and midgets and skimpy outfits!

Ireland Baldwin and a pal stepped out on Monday afternoon in Los Angeles, and the 6'2" stunner wore leggings, boots and a plaid skirt so short it hardly classifies as a skirt, but we're not hating!

Ireland addressed critics (aka jealous folks on Twitter) last spring when she was slammed for her weight, and she wrote an open letter on her Tumblr that's probably one of the more thoughtful things we've read in a while.

"I also get compared to my Mom quite a bit and this is where I bridge into the point of this whole post," she wrote. "I AM NOT MY PARENTS. My mom is one of the most beautiful woman in the world. She is 5’9, I am 6’2. She is petite and fragile, and I am fit and…. more to love tehe. I have a booty, she has a thigh gap. As she emerged from her teen years, she developed an angular face and striking cheekbones. I am still a teen making my way out of my awkward phase. I am still trying to figure this whole thing out."

We'd say she's figured it out pretty well!

Miranda Kerr covers the new issue of Self magazine, and the newly single Aussie model looks absolutely incredible in a pair of blue bikini bottoms with a sweater on top. Not like this is something one would actually wear, but who cares about her wardrobe when her abs look like this?

And not only that, but she shares how she stays positive and focused when she encounters difficulties in life. Miranda, who recently announced her split from hubby Orlando Bloom, tells the mag:

"If I'm having a challenging moment, I jump for joy. Literally. After a minute, I feel better, and after a few minutes, I'm really happy. Everything else just drops off. It gets me out of my head and into my body, and it makes me feel present. Happiness is a choice we make. You can wake up and say, 'Oh, I can't believe it's so cold,' or you can say, 'Oh, wow, this is a great opportunity for me to try out my new sweater.' No one can be consistently positive, but why not make the choice that makes you feel better rather than the one that drags you down?"

Well put! When asked about health and beauty tips, Kerr reveals, "If you take care of yourself, you can give more to everything else." So how exactly does she stay looking this good? It all starts with eating healthy. "For breakfast, I'll have either eggs with sauerkraut and avocado, or oatmeal with honey and goat's milk," she says. "For lunch, I'll have grilled fish and a salad with kale, spinach, broccoli, fennel, avocado, pine nuts and feta cheese. Dinner is lentil soup and steamed vegetables or roasted chicken."

No wonder she looks so amazing!

Not every celeb travels in style! And we definitely can't fault a gal for wanting to be comfy!

A makeup-free Jennifer Hudson touched down at LAX early Tuesday morning and instead of wearing diamonds and Dior, the Oscar winner was all bundled up in bomber jackets and boots for a long flight from her hometown, Chicago.

Over the weekend, Jennifer Hudson looked quite different from this off-duty looked. Flaunting her 80-pound weight loss, the 32-year-old wore not one but two very revealing and sexy outfits at the Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas on Friday.

The former American Idol contestant rocked the red carpet a barely-there geometric minidress and then eventually took the stage wearing leather, fishnets and spikes.

Even the skinnyminny needs some time off from her A-list looks -- clearly her party clothes are just too binding!

Uhh maybe we didn't get the memo on changing what the word "glamour" means? Lady Gaga and Lena Dunham donned some pretty hideous ensembles for the usually glittering and glam 23rd Annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards in New York City last night.

Typically an understated and elegant event, these two 27-year-old bucked with tradition and wore their a-typical fashions -- Gaga went with ghostly white concoction and Lena opted for yet another unflattering ensemble.

Gaga, whose ARTPOP album finally drops today, looked like the Narnia's White Witch-meets-'80s-power suit-wearing-lawyer-meets-Like-a-Virgin-Madonna -- and then dropped in a vat of powder.

The Do What U Want singer was one of the night's honorees, and said in her speech. "I do not look like that when I wake up in the morning," she said. Gaga added that despite being famous, "my true talent is not the clothes, and not the music. I really feel that what I am best at is seeing the potential in other people." The 27-year-old then referred to her campaign against bullying among young people, and referred to her young fan Jamey Rodemeye, who committed suicide in 2011.

"Do you really know how your child feels when they are home at night?" the singer asked the crowd.

While Mother Monster turned heads with her eerie look, the Girls creator opted for a dark design. Dunham shrouded herself in a geometric cut-out dress that looked basically like a paper bag on her figure. While we didn't like the dress, we do love her eyes and her subtly 1920s style. So at least there's that.

The night's top honoree was Barbra Streisand, who Lifetime Achievement Award, and told the audience that she was lucky to be born with a good singing voice, but "That voice ultimately allowed me to speak out and have my opinions heard."

The 71-year-old, then used her weight to give a vote of confidence to Hillary Rodham Clinton who was a presenter during the show, "There's never been a woman president, but I hope that will change very soon -- hint, hint! And we really need her now."

Hills in 2016?! Let's cross our fingers!

Rihanna posted photos from her upcoming music video “What Now” on Instagram yesterday, and we always love her style, but we especially dig this dark and edgy look!

The 25-year-old singer captioned the pics, "NAVY #WHATNOW video is dropping as soon as y'all are really READY for it #videoseason ... GET LOUD cuz What Now Video is coming!!!"

Bad gal RiRi shot some of the footage in Thailand back in September, and the video will be released on Friday. Can't wait!

Justin Timberlake was named GQ's Man of the Year -- he shares the honors with Will Ferrell, Matthew McConaughey, Kendrick Lamar and the late James Gandolfini -- and the singer/actor and wife Jessica Biel celebrated his cover at the mag's dinner in New York City. Wonder what Jess thought of his cover look? It's a little Robin Thick-esque, and we don't even want to know how much product it took to get JT's curly locks up into this 'do:



While JT and Jessica were absolutely glowing on the red carpet, inside the magazine he addresses a lot of negativity surrounding his career. Case in point, he starts off by telling the reporter, “So I find it ironic that I'm doing an interview with you about Man of the Year when I feel -- literally -- like a bunch of people just took a sh*t on my face.”

On his response to negative reviews of Runner Runner, JT said:

“The movie didn't do well at the box office, so I should quit? Hold on a second. If I was somebody else, you wouldn't have said that. I have the number one album this week, and I shouldn't have released it? Come on, man. You sound like a d*ckhead ... It just shocked me because, like, you're trade magazines. None of your opinions count. And by the way, none of you can do it.”

The former boy bander tells the magazine that growing up in Memphis, Tennessee shaped how he handles this sort of criticism. "It's a struggling city with a defeatist attitude. I'm from this town, and I grew up with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, so sometimes I find it funny that I've been able to acquire the patience it takes to be kind to people in our business," he says. "Because sometimes I just want to f*cking kill everybody."

Man of the year, indeed.

On Monday night Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson got all glammed up for the premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire at the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England, and the boys looked great in their suits, but it was J. Law's Dior dress and new haircut that stole the show:



The film hits theaters on November 22, and during a press conference the other day the 22-year-old Oscar winner chatted about the road she's taken to get from struggling starlet to A-list actress. "I wouldn't be here without my parents, who took out a second mortgage to let me do this," she told reporters. "My brothers told them 'let me go' and I lived without parents for a couple of years. They are my rock. They are always there ... I love this movie so much and I'm excited for everyone to see it."

Such a class act!
