Lou Reed, songwriter and guitarist who helped influence the face of rock music wioth his band the Velvet Underground, passed away today. He was 71.

According to Rolling Stone, Reed's cause of death wasn't reported yet it's been known that he underwent a liver transplant in May.

Back in the 1960s and 70s, the Velvet Undergound weren't commercially successful but revolutionized rock with a mixture of thrashing guitar licks and smooth melodies sung by Reed or German model Nico, who collaborated at the request of famed artist Andy Warhol.

Yesterday, Alessandra Ambrosio looked deliciously devilish as she brought her two kids out to enjoy a Halloween festival in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old Victoria's Secret model switched up her Halloween wardrobe this time around, wearing a red body suit with some denim shorts, horns and a tail while her daughter Anja and son Noah both sported similar red outfits while enjoying carnival rides and feasting on festival food.

Looks like they were "red-y" for some fun!

David Beckham was just involved in a significant car crash in Los Angeles, though our photographers on the scene believe there were no injuries.

Our photos show the damage to the front bumper and hood of Beckham's black 2013 Range Rover. The accident occurred just outside of the driveway of his Beverly Hills mansion -- the soccer star had son Brooklyn, 14, in the car with him.

The pair pulled back into their private driveway and David came out, on foot, to speak with police.

An X17 photographer there today, tells us:

"I heard this loud sound and it was obviously a crash. It sounded really serious so we drove up the road to see what happened and realized it was Beckham. The front fender was dragging on the ground, making a scraping noise on the pavement. It was pretty bad."

Jennifer Garner and her lookalike daughter Violet got into the Halloween spirit yesterday.

The girls stepped inside a local Halloween shop in Brentwood and left with full grown mustaches. Naturally, each chose a different 'stache. They may not have gone incognito, but the mother-daughter duo did look adorable with their fuzzy upper lips. Where were these mustaches when Ben Affleck needed support in growing out his facial hair for Argo?

Hollywood's leading men went unnoticed at yesterday's Casamigos Halloween party thanks to their masked looks.

Leonardo DiCaprio wore a head to toe black Grim Reaper-esque costume, while Sean Penn only covered his face with a devil's mask. John Stamos also showed up as a devil, but his painted red face and protruding horns were a much more effective approach to the costume.

Sasha Baron Cohen took home the award for the most unrecognizable and strangest costume with his gorilla ski mask a grandma body pillow/puppet look. His wife Isla Fisher added to the oddity with her Strawberry Shortcake outfit and fox mask.

David Spade was one of the few actors who didn't cover up with a mask, instead donning another artist's identity. The comedian dressed up as photographer Terry Richardson. If only he had convinced a female friend to show up as Miley Cyrus, the look would have been complete.

While the models who attended Friday's Casamigos Halloween fest showed off plenty of skin in leggy looks, the younger crowd of celebs sported more toned down numbers.

Former Disney darlings Vanessa Hudgens and Hilary Duff wore a makeshift angel and mouse costume -- two go-to last-minute choices. While Vanessa wore a halo, wings and furry boots with a sparky dress, Hillary sported mouse ears, whiskers and a bow tie over a grey mini.

These one-time child stars seem stuck in childhood costumes. They need to take a page from the Michelle Trachtenberg playbook.

Alessandra, who stepped out without her husband in the midst of divorce rumors, attended the Casamigos Halloween bash Friday in Beverly Hills with other Alice in Wonderland characters, including the white rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Mad Hatter. The Brazilian babe donned a short red bob with her costume.

While Elisabetta showed the most skin in a corset and skirt, Molly was the most covered up of the bunch. However, her hourglass shape was on full display in the pink floor-length, sequined gown.

She may have just gotten engaged, but Kim Kardashian is already in a bridal state of mind.

The sultry mom showed off her killer curves and ample assets in a white lace bustier and tight skirt. She looked absolutely sinful at her birthday celebration on Friday night in Las Vegas. Her new fiance Kanye West wore a matching red lace blazer. He seemed smitten with the reality darling, caught staring at her lovingly several times throughout the night.

Kim was also joined by her family, including mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney and Khloe, who wore sexy all-black getups. Kourtney's boyfriend Scott Disick -- aka the duke of Vegas -- family friend Robin Antin and Kim's gal pals Naya Rivera and Blac Chyna were also on hand for the party. The family attended Kanye's concert at the MGM Grand before heading to the Venetian.

While the 33rd birthday bash at Tao nightclub was extravagant, Kim's actual birthday celebration is unmatched. Kanye rented AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants, to propose to the mother of his newborn baby girl, on Oct. 21. All the booze and beats in the world can't beat that!
