Hey, no shame in a little self tanner! Or falling asleep in the UV bed...

On Wednesday night Mel Gibson, Robert Rodriguez, Paris Hilton, Sofia Vergara and other stars attended the Machete Kills premiere at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, and despite his tangerine-toned skin, the 57-year-old actor looked happy and calm. Come to think of it, he's been in a reaaaalllly good mood lately. Maybe that hormone replacement therapy really is doing something for him!

But of course!

Lamar Odom says he's been sober for five whole days and he thinks he can stay sober, this according to TMZ.

Sources close to the troubled NBA star tell the website that Lamar believes in what he calls "self-healing" and claims he has "the willpower to kick his drug habit on his own." And get this -- Lamar says he's done it successfully before and insiders say his main motivation is getting back on the basketball court. Yup. Lamar "believes once he's achieved a level of sobriety, he can re-join a team." Um, #delusional!

On the plus side Lamar says he's open to getting professional help, but not at a rehab facility -- only in private. Additionally, he is cutting certain "friends" from his life so he doesn't relapse, but given the severity of his alleged addiction to drugs, this doesn't seem like enough. But is it enough to keep estranged wife Khloe Kardashian around? She still hasn't announced plans to divorce Lamar, and if they end of reconciling, she very well could pull their home off the market before the listing goes public.

After lunching at Katsuya in a sexy black dress, Khloe Kardashian changed into jeans and a nude tank/jacket combo, and she totally forgot her bra. But the show must go on, and Khloe and her nips (plus her little sister Kylie and mom Kris Jenner) filmed a segment for Keeping Up with the Kardashians while shopping at Kitson in West Hollywood.

Seeing as Khloe is selling the Tarzana home she shares with estranged hubby Lamar Odom, we'd be inclined to believe that a divorce announcement is imminent, but she's been wearing her wedding ring, so we still have no idea what's going to happen.

Given how much she's been out and about lately, it seems like staying busy (and being with her family) are helping keep her sane...

Justin Bieber will not be prosecuted for two separate incidents (battery for allegedly spitting on his neighbor in March and reckless driving in May) as the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has rejected the cases against the pop star.

Earlier this year Biebs was accused of spitting on his neighbor and making threats during an altercation (he reportedly yelled, “I will beat the sh*t out of you and I will f*cking kill you"), and though the neighbor claims to have saved the loogie, the D.A. determined that there was not enough evidence to pursue the case.

However, they did note that the singer's actions were “disproportionate and immature,” but “since the neighbor had entered the property without invitation, Bieber’s actions did not rise to the level of a criminal threat.”

So what about the speeding case? Bieber was under investigation for reckless driving when former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson accused him of speeding through their gated Calabasas community this spring, but after reviewing surveillance footage, prosecutors found that Bieber wasn’t actually driving the car at the time. And get this -- Bieber’s bestie Tyler the Creator admitted to driving the singer's white Ferrari around, so he's totally off the hook.

If only Lindsay Lohan could catch this many lucky legal breaks!

On Wednesday evening Sandra Bullock made an appearance on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, and both she and co-star George Clooney have been busy promoting their new film, Gravity, in New York City.

And speaking of Mr. Clooney, it looks like the silver fox became fast friends with Sandra's son Louis off the set earlier this year. "Louis and I played basketball together," Clooney told People on Tuesday at the New York premiere of the space drama. "There was [director] Alfonso [Cuaron] and Rande Gerber, and Louis would gravitate towards me and the guys and hang with us ... It was fun, but I wish Sandy would stop telling the story, because it's totally ruining my reputation!" Aww!

Oh, and speaking of celebrities who look great for their age (or any age, really), Uncle George was also make the promotional rounds, looking dapper as ever:

She's baaaaack! Can you feel it in the air? Kim Kardashian has returned to Los Angeles! Tinseltown can breathe a collective sigh of relief now that their gilded goddess has arrived home safe, sound and still as curvy as ever. After a whirlwind trip to Paris with her main man Kanye West, the reality star has touched down at LAX on Wednesday afternoon.

For the international flight, the newly blonde reality star wore an oversized white top, leggings, knee-high moccasins and a camel coat -- which we must admit matches oh-so-perfectly with her prominent camel toe!

During her quickie European jaunt across the pond for Paris Fashion Week, Kim used the opportunity to show off her assets (and by her assets we mean boobs) at the Givenchy show when she posted a photo of herself with Kanye's bestie/Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci on Instagram and wrote, "My date tonight @riccardotisci17..."

The 32-year-old mom also grabbed gobs of designer goodies for her wee one Nori on her trip. On Tuesday, Kim posted a series of Instagram shots showing off the freebies she’s gotten at Paris Fashion Week. Kim was gifted high-priced items such as frilly Lanvin dresses, Givenchy t-shirts and a leather Alexander Wang number. Leather baby gear? We aren't so sure about that one, but like father, like daughter apparently!

When we spotted Kim on her way back, there was no sign of the King of Leather Jogging Pants/The Sultan of Leather Sweats. Guess Kanye is still in Paris coming up with all of those self-proclaimed brilliant ideas of his. At least Kim gets to see her baby girl soon!

We are shocked! Katherine Jackson and the Jackson family have just lost in their $85 million civil court fight to hold concert tour promoter AEG Live responsible for Michael Jackson's 2009 death. Therefore, AEG is NOT liable for Jackson's death and will not have to pay out to the family.

While the jury ruled that AEG Live DID hire Dr. Conrad Murray (which was hotly disputed), the jury also ruled Dr. Murray was NOT, "unfit or incompetent to perform the work for which he was hired," which means he WAS a competent doctor at the time of hire, and which boils down to this: Katherine and the kids lose.

The outcome of the civil trial hinged on the question of whether Murray was competent to handle the pop singer when he was hired, which the jury said he was. However, a jury in the criminal case against Murray ruled that the doc DID go off the deep end and made choices that eventually contributed to the death of the "Billie Jean" singer. Unfortunately, because Murray was competent when he was hired, the Jacksons lost -- big time.

After the verdict was read, the Judge Yvette M. Palazuelos polled the jury individually (in an awkward, "Who's on First"-style few minutes) on their verdicts and then thanked them for their five months of jury duty.

During the trial, Jackson family lawyer Brian Panish has asserted that the tour company tried to "hoodwink" jurors and put off the blame for the death of the King of Pop at the age of 50.

In the trial, Panish did his best to (and ultimately did) persuade the jury that AEG did hire Dr. Conrad Murray, who was found guilty in 2011 of causing Jackson's death while he was preparing for his "This Is It" come back tour. Panish told the six-man, six-woman jury, "AEG Live is a money-making company …They didn't want to help Michael do a comeback. They wanted Michael so they could make money, and that's why they did it."

On June 25, 2009, the world famous entertainer died from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol at a home he was renting in Los Angles, just as he was gearing up for his comeback tour at London's 02 Arena. Very quickly after the death of the popstar, blame fell on Jackson's doctor who had been administering propofol to help the singer sleep. In 2011, Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving the drug to the star in a criminal trial. Murray was sentenced to four years in prison.

In this civil trial, 83-year-old Katherine alleged that AEG Live was negligent when it hired an incompetent doctor and also the company ignored red flags about the star's failing health so that they could profit. However, the jury did not agree with such claims.

Had the verdict sided with the family, the Jacksons wanted AEG Live to pay $85 million to each of the star's three children, Prince, Paris, and Blanket, for emotional loss, as well as an unspecified amount, which is believed to be up to $1.6 billion.

AEG Live's lawyers said the Jackson family's figures were "absurd" and "speculation and guesswork," since it was based on Jackson being able to tour until he was 66 years old.

Panish said in Thursday's closing argument that the "Bad" singer was 20 percent responsible for his demise.

An important issue in the trial was whether or not AEG Live actually hired Murray before Jackson died. The jury decided that AEG had hired the doc and a key piece of evidence in that decision was a copy of a contract signed by the doctor, but neither AEG or Jackson, which was found in Murray's car after Jackson's death.

During the trial, Panish showed nine emails, which includes one particularly damning one from AEG executive Paul Gongaware. "We want to remind (Murray) that it is AEG, not MJ who is paying his salary," said Gongaware.

Despite the fact that AEG hired the guilty doctor, the tour company seems to have gotten out of this mess relatively unscathed.

We're not certain what's going on with Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, but one thing is for sure: The reality starlet has never looked better!

On Wednesday afternoon Khloe went to a business meeting at Katsuya in Encino, and though we spotted Lamar leaving their Tarzana home yesterday looking frighteningly skinny, he was nowhere to be seen today.

We previously broke the story that Khloe is selling the couple's home, so after spending some time with her estranged hubby yesterday, we have to wonder if she's going to change her mind. After her pow wow with Lamar, Khloe hung out with Kourtney and little Mason, and not only was she wearing her wedding ring, but she cracked a smile. Think she's gonna turn things around? She's still confirming or denying that she'll file for divorce...
