Ahhh ... the warm fall sun in NYC!

Katie Holmes basked in the first sun rays of autumn Sunday, as she and daughter Suri ran errands and, apparently, played a little dress up!

Let's start with Katie -- she wore $1000 Alaia heels with baggie denim overalls and a knee-length olive corduroy trench. Suri rocked a pink nightgown-turned-day dress with sparkly ballet flats, a pink bow headband and her now-signature pink cast.

Looks like a fun (and quirky!) mommy-and-my day out!

Jake Gyllenhaal went undercover as he headed to the gym in NYC, on Sunday. The hooded hottie was with a lucky girl (not his girlfriend Alyssa Miller) ... who didn't mind the beard :)

The actor's new film with Hugh Jackman, Prisoners won the box office this weekend, with a $21.4 million take.

The 32-year-old actor made an appearance on The Actors Studio this week and addressed gay rumors that surfaced after Brokeback Mountain. "It's a huge compliment," Gyllenhaal said. When asked what turns him on, Jake said simply: "Tits and ass." Guess that clears things up!

Michael Douglas and Matt Damon kicked off the evening with multiple wins for their HBO movie Behind the Candelabra -- the Liberace biopic -- taking prizes for Best Miniseries or Movie; Douglas winning Best Lead Actor; and Best Directing at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Audience favorite, Breaking Bad didn't fare as well as hoped -- missing out on both Lead and Support Actor Emmys and Best Directing and Writing for a Drama Series. Homeland won for Best Directing and Claire Danes won the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series. Jeff Daniels beat out Bad;s Bryan Cranston and Kevin Spacey in House of Cards to take Best Actor in a Drama for Newsroom. Meanwhile, David Fincher took the prize for Best Directing, for the Netflix breakthrough series.

Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn did take the prize for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and as the final prize of the evening, it won Best Drama.

ABC's Modern Family picked up Best Comedy Series for the fourth consecutive year.

HBO's Girls won nothing ... and we're sad about that :(

While practically the rest of the music world was in Las Vegas for the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Rihanna was relaxing in Thailand.

The songstress spiced it up in sexy bikinis during her much-needed break from the "Diamonds" world tour. For full peace and tranquility, Rihanna turned to her favorite herbs, smoking a spliff in one Instagram photo she posted from her vacation.

Ri-Ri went snap happy during her island stay, posting racy pics of herself in scenic locations. Whether wearing a flirty pink tied bandeau and tiny bottoms or a black monokini with a fishnet back, the "Bad Girl" singer looked smokin' hot.





Aside from a glamorous night out in Phuket, she also shared pictures of herself on a lavish yacht, goofing around with hotel staff, and playing with elephants.

When in Vegas ...

Britney Spears dressed the part of a Sin City performer on Saturday at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Brit Brit worked it in a black sleeveless, low-cut tuxedo jacket that showed off her assets and black bedazzled lace bra. The songstress also bared her toned, tanned legs in dress shorts. Vegas will soon be Britney's part-time home when she begins her two-year Vegas residency show in December at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Brit rubbed elbows backstage with the woman of the hour, Miley Cyrus. The two embraced while crossing paths. Britney recently defended Miley's slew of racy behavior in an interview with Extra, saying that the girl "is on fire right now."

"I remember that age when I was just transferring into my career and doing more controversial things and the energy that you feel and all this chaos that goes on," she said.

Brit will also appears in Miley's upcoming MTV documentary, The Movement, and on a track for her new album "Bangerz."

With Kim Kardashian missing in action, Miley Cyrus is stepping in as an honorary Kardashian sister.

The singer schmoozed with Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner Saturday night in Las Vegas following her twerkalicious iHeartRadio Music Festival performance. The five girls even looked like they coordinated their black and white outfits, albeit Miley's stood out slightly from the crowd. The racy star was practically naked in a sheer fishnet dress worn over nothing but nipple pasties and panties.

Just hours before, the singer twerked with little people while performing her hit "We Can't Stop" and broke down in tears while singing her ballad "Wrecking Ball," which is presumably about her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth. And you thought she couldn't top that corseted, scantily clad outfit or her VMAs nude latex number.





The Kardashians, who were much more covered up, made it a family affair in Sin City. Khloe left her marital problems with Lamar Odom at the door when she and her sisters, friends, and Kourt's boyfriend Scott Disick boarded their private jet. The group went snap happy in the plane, posting several Instagram photos of the lavish interior. Scott even shot a video of Khloe goofing off inside by playing the role of flight attendant.

He may be less than one month old, but Fergie and Josh Duhamel's baby boy is already the splitting image of his dad.

The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman tweeted a precious picture of Axl Jack on Saturday. The extreme close-up shot of the wide-eyed three-week-old is a striking mirror image of Josh. "hello world!!!! #daddyandmommymademedothis #whatsahashtag," she captioned the photo. Now, that's one happy baby!

The first-time parents also shared photos of their son on Facebook as soon as he was born. "Axl Jack Duhamel Day 1. Life is good ?#‎paparazziyoucanleaveourhousenow?" Duhamel wrote after posting a pic of his bundle of joy. Fergie shared another shot the next day with Axl wearing headphones. "Axl Jack Duhamel. Day 2 of life. Hearing test complete. All systems go. ?#‎chillin?" she wrote.

Sofia Vergara has a lot to smile about.

The actress was in high spirits on Saturday while grabbing lunch at The Ivy in Beverly Hills. Sophia got in some quality time with her girlfriends before taking on Sunday's Emmys festivities. The Latin bombshell wore a tight, short blue dress with sheer detailing on the seam that hugged her curves to perfection.

The Modern Family star is nominated for a best supporting actress Emmy. Her hit show has several noms as well, including the coveted outstanding comedy series prize, which Modern Family has won three years in a row. What's more? With estimated annual earnings of $30 million, Forbes magazine recently named her the highest paid actress on TV.

The awards showstopper is sure to blow the competition away again this year when she dons one of her signature stylish gowns.
