Kanye West has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft after attacking a paparazzo at LAX on July 19, according to TMZ.


The photographer, Daniel Ramos, attempted to photograph Kanye as he headed to his chauffeured car after a flight but Kanye was NOT in the mood and approached the shooter, put him in what appears to be a headlock, dragged him to the ground and seemingly caused harm to the very expensive camera.

Gloria Allred is representing Ramos in the suit and claims Kanye left her client badly injured.

If convicted of both misdemeanors, Kanye faces a maximum of a year in jail. Arraignment is set for October 10.

Just days after fiance Brian Hallisay had an alleged scuffle with a paparazzo, pregnant Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted lunching at Good Earth in a all-black, leather look in Studio City. The Client List actress sported a black leather crop top, black jeans, and black Isabel Marant wedge sneakers. The 34-year-old certainly made a style statement with her dark and stormy ensemble. Hey JLove -- why so glum?!

The former Ghost Whisperer star almost bared her belly by wearing the crop top, but her maternity jeans just barely covered her growing bump!

It's been quite the whirlwind week for the pregnant star. On Sept. 6, Hewittt and her costar/fiance had just finished dining at Toscana in Brentwood, Calif., when a shutterbug began taking photos of the duo as they left the eatery. Reportedly, Hallisay asked the photographer to stop but he refused. The pap is claims that Hallisay subsequently got physical with him and then hit his face, injuring his eye during the altercation.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing, according to E! news.

We hope this issue gets resolved amicably -- because we really love that Love has finally found love!

Vanessa Hudgens hit the gym with her sister Stella this morning in North Hollywood, and the actress seemed a bit bashful upon her exit, but maybe that's why she wore a T-shirt that read "B**ch Don't Kill My Vibe"!

The Spring Breakers star spends a lot of quality time with her sibling, and she recently revealed in the October issue of Marie Claire that she's grateful for her family's constant support when she was breaking into the entertainment industry.

"Money was a big thing. My parents drove me up to L.A., which cost a lot because of gas, and took out loans so that we could move from location to location to be close to L.A. The family definitely struggled. They were very supportive of me. They gave up a lot so that I could get to where I am," she told the mag.

Earlier this week, the Girl on Fire songstress and her husband, who turns 35 today, arrived in Brazil with their 2-year-old son, Egypt, to celebrate Swizz' birthday.

Never one for modesty, Paris Hilton revealed some skimpy pics from a shoot with controversial photographer Terry Richardson. The celebutante saddled up to the 48-year-old camera man and showed off her rocking' bod' in a bondage-style lingerie.

The 32-year-old posted the pic on Instagram with the caption, "So much fun!" on Thursday.

Paris revealed another sexy snap from the photo shoot of herself, gussied up in a pink and black bra, knee-length pencil skirt, along with her 29-year-old sis Nicky, who lounged seductively in a black bustier, fishnet stockings and leather gladiator-style shin guards.

Our cameras caught Jake Gyllenhaal when he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his upcoming thriller Prisoners. During the fun-filled interview, the 32-year-old admitted that while he is usually likes to plan things out, in 2011 he impulsively went on tour with the band Mumford & Sons during their Railroad Revival Tour -- and at one point almost got arrested! What?! We didn't know any of this!

"We got stopped by the state troopers at one point in Texas … and I was researching to play a police officer actually and I thought I really knew how to play a police officer at the time, I had done two or three months of research," said Gylenhaal. "I got off and I was like 'Hey guys, don't worry about it …' and they were like get the hell out of here, they were almost about to arrest me. That would have been a good story. "

The Brokeback Mountain star seemed totally at ease during his interview, even mocking Kimmel on his tie selection from the actor's previous visit to the show. While we love the back and forth, we are a little surprised the late night host didn't fire a crack back about the Gyllenhaal's greasy hair! You could run a car on that amount of product -- or at least be in a revival of Grease!

The End of Watch star's newest thriller follows Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman) after his six-year-old daughter and her best friend are kidnapped on Thanksgiving. During the search, Dover butts heads with headstrong detective Loki (Gyllenhaal) who is in charge of the investigation. Eventually the father takes matters into his own hands and takes the man he believes is responsible for the kidnapping (Paul Dano) prisoner and quickly loses control. Prisoners breaks in theaters on Sept. 20.

If it's not one Lohan getting into trouble, it's another!

Dina Lohan was arrested for drunk driving in Long Island, NY, last night after cops observed her driving erratically and going 77mph in a 55mph zone.

Lindsay Lohan's mother was pulled over by police around 11p.m., and after authorities determined she appeared intoxicated, they admistered a blood alcohol level test, which came back more than twice the legal limit at a .20.

The troubled divorcee made allegations she was injured during her arrest, but later went back on the claims after medical personnel responded to the scene.

After being booked, she was released to a third party. No word yet on whether it was Lilo who picked her mom up from the slammer!
