Diddy's life has totally changed in the wake of his ex Kim Porter's tragic death, but he's determined to rise to the occasion and make the best of his family's new situation.
"Today the journey begins. Thank you all for your prayers and support. I’m now a part of the 6 a.m. crew. This is mommy-slash Daddy, Daddy-slash-Mommy checking in," he said in a video posted to social media.
"When you all hear me say ‘Daddy/Mommy,’ all my single mothers they know what that is, even some single fathers. Guys step up and play both roles. Mothers do it all the time. You have to get up early in the morning. Like real early, like early," he continued.
“Man, definitely give all glory to God for just waking me up this morning, my kids having the strength to go to school. One step at a time, one step at a time," he concluded.
Porter passed away unexpectedly at age 47 on November 15th, and they are still awaiting her official cause of death.

Kanye West isn't one to apologize for anything, but he made an exception after being called out for being on his phone the entire night at Cher's broadway show.
"Hey @kanyewest so cool that you’re here at @TheCherShow! If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much," Jarrod Spector, who plays Cher’s late ex-husband Sonny Bono in the musical, tweeted.
The rapper got the message loud and clear, and promptly responded by falling on his sword.
"The dynamics of Cher and Sonny’s relationship made Kim and I grab each other’s hand and sing ‘I got you babe.' please pardon my lack of etiquette. We have so much appreciation for the energy you guys put into making this master piece," he tweeted back in response.

Ariana Grande took to Instagram to beg her fans to stop bullying Pete Davidson online, after the SNL comedian released a statement discussing the ongoing harassment from Internet trolls.
"I've kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything. I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts of frame of reference. Especially in today's climate where everyone loves to be offended and upset it truly is mind boggling. I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months," he wrote on Instagram.
"I've spoken about BPD [bipolar disorder] and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth. I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't. I'm upset I even have to say this. To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is – I see you and I love you," he added.
The "Sweetener" songstress shared a screenshot of his post, and added her own words of wisdom.
"I know u already know this but i feel i need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others. I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity. i care deeply about pete and his health," she wrote.
“I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet. i’ve learned thru my own mistakes not to be reactive on socials so i do understand, but you truly don’t know what anybody is experiencing ever. regardless of what they choose to display on social media or how they may appear in public. i can promise u that. So please let whatever point you’re trying to make go," she urged.

"Luciana wasn't happy with how Ben's romances with Lindsay Shookus and Shauna Sexton had hurt her friend, and she warned Matt to keep his distance," a source dished to the National Enquirer.
They've had a change of heart now that the Batman star and the Peppermint actress are in a better place.
