Lamar Odom has checked into rehab, according to two different sources for People Magazine. "He realized he needs help," an insider tells the mag.

Odom's rep has yet to confirm the news, but after the NBA star was arrested last Friday for D.U.I., it doesn't exactly come as a shock. California Highway Patrol pulled Odom over after noticing that he was driving in a "serpentine manner" and going only about 50 miles per hour. Odom failed several field sobriety tests, and he was then taken to a nearby station, where he was booked and held on $15,000 bail.

Just days before Odom's D.U.I arrest, his teammates and agent attempted to have an intervention to confront him about his alleged drug use, but it was reported that he left and didn't want their help. However, the very next day Lamar spent the night with Khloe at the couple's Tarzana mansion, and the following day we snapped him grabbing a bite at Taco Bell and returning home once again. The last time we spotted Khloe, she was wearing her wedding ring, so maybe things are looking up after all?

On Wednesday Britney Spears was snapped leaving the studio in Los Angeles, and while we're eagerly anticipating her duet with Miley Cyrus, the countdown is also on for the announcement about her residency deal in Las Vegas! I mean, that is what she's prepping for at dance practice!

Caesars Entertainment has reportedly invited employees to "come play a part in the biggest announcement in Las Vegas Entertainment History" on September 17, which, oddly enough, is the same date that BritneySpears.com is counting down to for that whole #AllEyesOnMe hoopla.

BreatheHeavy reports that participants are being told to meet at Planet Hollywood to be shuttled to an undisclosed location and to "expect this event to generate global media attention." We've been waiting MONTHS for official word and details about Brit's concert ... can't wait to find out more!

Scarlett Johansson is engaged! Her French journalist boyfriend Romain Dauriac has put a ring on it, reports People.

Apparently, the proposal happened about a month ago. "They're engaged and very happy," a source said to the mag, while a rep for the Lost in Translation actress had no comment.

On Tuesday, the 28-year-old donned an Atelier Versace gown and while on the red carpet was spotted wearing a vintage Art Deco engagement ring at the premiere of Under the Skin at the Venice International Film Festival.

This is the second marriage for Scarlett -- who was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011. She has dated a bevy of men and has previously been linked to Jared Leto, Josh Harnett, Benecio Del Torre, Sean Penn and New York ad exec Nate Naylor. Glad this one has finally stuck!

Well, no one here is really new to American Idol, but you know what we mean!

After taking a year off, Jennifer Lopez is back for the 13th season of American Idol, and while Keith Urban is returning for yet another season, Harry Connick Jr. has also joined the judging panel. The trio posed for their first official portrait this week, and unless the network plans on announcing a fourth judge as a surprise during the premiere, it'll be just the three of them.

Connick Jr. previously appeared on the show as a mentor, and he said in a statement, "I have always been a huge fan of American Idol and really enjoyed my time as a mentor on the show. I am honored that they've asked me to be a judge this season. As an entertainer, I am truly excited to bring my perspective to American Idol and to help emerging performers find their way."

Ryan Seacrest will be returning as a host, and though former judge Randy Jackson announced his departure in May, it turns out he's staying on the show! Jackson will replace Jimmy Iovine as the in-house mentor to the contestants.

Christina Aguilera graces the cover of the October issue of Maxim, and inside the glossy she talks all about sex appeal, men, and her Mouseketeer days.

"I'm such a down-to-earth girl, I'm comfortable in just a jersey and boy's underwear. Trying too hard to be sexy is the worst thing you can do. Sexiness should be effortless," she tells the mag about her natural confidence.

The Voice mentor is arguably the best singer in the business, but she doesn't want her man Matt Rutler belting out any tunes in an effort to impress her.

"The quickest way for me to feel weird and run for the hills is if somebody sits down and serenades me with a guitar. It's not my thing," she explains of her turn-offs.
