Looks like there's some good news for Modern Family star Ariel Winter’s long-running, real-life family drama with mother Chrisoula “Crystal” Workman. Just two days after a court denied Crystal custody of the 15-year-old actress, Ariel publicly gushed about her big sister, The Bold and the Beautiful actress Shanelle Gray, on Instagram.

On Saturday. Ariel wrote birthday wishes to her 35-year-old sister, saying, "Happy birthday to the most amazing mister, (sister/mommy) on the planet @shanelle_gray ! I love you so much. You have helped me become a better person and grow into the woman I want to be. You are my inspiration. The things you have done for me, I'm honestly speechless. There are no words to describe how grateful I am to have you.” She also added that her sister was a great example for her, “You've taught me so much about being a classy young woman and about life. If I could ever be as amazing as you are and as amazing of a mother, I'd be incredibly lucky. I look up to you so much."

Ariel and her mother have made news since the starlet was removed from Crystal’s home in November 2012, after allegations of both emotional and physical abuse. A restraining order was also put in effect at the time, barring Crystal from being within 100 yards of her younger daughter. According to TMZ, older sister Shanelle had also been removed from her mother’s home as a child, and was put into foster care by the Department of Children and Family Services. Despite these many custody issues, Crystal filed legal documents to get custody of Ariel but was denied in late July, but will still have a custody trial in September.

Ariel, who plays brainy teen Alex Dunphy on the hit ABC show, also added in her lengthy praise on her sister, "Anytime I need a hug or a laugh or if I'm just down and need someone, I can just talk to you and I'm instantly better. You've been my best friend, my rock, and will always be my heart. You deserve the absolute world, and are the brightest star in the sky. You're BEAUTIFUL inside and out. So talented and humble and special. I will always be here for you Snelly. ALWAYS. You can always count on me, because it'll always be you and me."

What a sweet message! Looks like Ariel has quite the maternal example in big sister Shanelle, who also has two children with her husband and who was granted an extended guardianship over the young actress.

Prince Jackson and girlfriend Remi Alfalah took a Jiu jitsu class and then chowed down at Panini Cafe in Beverly Hills on Monday night, but Remi appeared more interested in her phone than she did in her high school sweetheart.

Lea Michele is still dealing with her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith's tragic death from a heroin and alcohol overdose last month, and now that she's getting back to work on Glee, the actress is pouring her emotions into a touching tribute tune.

"Couldn't have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with," the brunette beauty tweeted Monday.

Not only did Miss Michele hit the recording studio, but the Fox network released a memorial card video featuring the late actor. "Cory Monteith: Forever in our hearts" is written at the end of the 12-second clip. Sad!

The new season of Glee is set to air September 26, with Monteith's character being written out by the third episode.

Chris Brown turned himself in at the Van Nuys jail around 2pm yesterday for his hit-and-run case, and the R&B star was booked and released on his own recognizance without bail. According to reports, Chris was there for less than an hour, and later in the evening he Eden nightclub in Hollywood to celebrate with several pals.

Due to overcrowding, we're not surprised that Brown was released that quickly, but he could still have more jail time on the horizon, as a judge revoked his probation last month, which stems from his 2009 assault on Rihanna. Brown will be back in court on August 19, and if found to be in violation of his probation, he faces up to four years in jail
.

As usual, Chris had something to say about his busy day, tweeting, "Only reach for help. Doing too much is called reaching ... Home don't feel like home. Too many vacant rooms." However, he revealed that he's apparently quitting the music biz in his next tweet! "Don't worry mainstream America. After this X album, it'll probably be my last album," he wrote. "Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it!"

But what about the mistake he made earlier this year when he failed to provide the drive he hit with his insurance information? Isn't that the whole reason he had to spend some quality time at the Van Nuys jail yesterday afternoon?

Miley Cyrus' new VMA promo clip was just released, and from the looks of it we're in for quite a performance on the big night!

The "We Can't Stop" singer gets the party started with commuters standing on the platform at the Barclays Center stop in Brooklyn. The blonde bombshell is seen climbing down a ladder in a netted white top and hot pants that show off her amazing legs, and the entire scene is set to the Beastie Boys track "No Sleep Till Brooklyn."

"Miley's coming for you," the tagline to the video reads. We can't wait!

The starlet is nominated for Best Female Video and Best Editing for her latest single.

In addition to her career being on fire, her personal life is also looking up! Her parents Billy Ray and Tish called off their divorce earlier this month, and judging from the Twitter pic their daughter posted yesterday, things are going smoothly!

And when we say ladies, we mean Sylvester Stallone's third wife Jennifer Flavin and their three daughters, Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.

The 67-year-old actor looked thrilled to be relaxing in St. Tropez with his family, but after getting a peek at his uber veiny arms, we're mildly grossed out:

On Monday afternoon the Glee starlet left a meeting in Los Angeles, and not only did she appear to be in a good mood, but she was still wearing a gold necklace with late boyfriend Cory Monteith's first name on it.

On Saturday Lea stepped out for the first time since Cory's death, attending Jamie-Lynn Sigler's baby shower with pal JoAnna Garcia Swisher at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills

Cory passed away on July 13 due to a lethal mix of of heroin and alcohol, and a week after his shocking death, Lea broke her silence on Twitter and wrote, "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart."

Twilovers can rejoice with the news that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have rekindled their romance!

Despite hanging out with Riley Keough in late June, Rob was at Kristen's house during last week. X17 photographers snapped the actor driving to her Los Feliz home and parking right in front of the house! He left two hours later and drove back home.

A photographer on the scene tells X17online exclusively, "Rob looked nervous on his way to visit Kristen. He was trying to be discreet so no one would see him." Hmm, maybe that's why he drove a white Durango with an out of state license plate?

This is the first time we've seen them together since their nasty fight at Rob's birthday party in April, and even though Rob moved all of his stuff out of their house in May, we had a feeling they weren't totally dunzo. Both of the stars have been very busy with work this summer, and K. Stew only had a few days off from shooting Camp X Ray, so it looks like these two are really trying to focus on their relationship.
