Selena Gomez celebrated her 21st birthday at Bagatelle in Hollywood last night, and pals like Ashley Benson and Francia Raisa helped her blow out the candles and party the night away.

"Thank you to bagatellela for an amazing bday!!!! It's a birthday WEEK! #werk #becauseIcan," Selena tweeted. Ashley posted the top shot and wrote, "And she beat jay z number one baby," after learning that Selena's new single "Stars Dance" had snagged the number one spot on the charts. What a sweet way to spend a milestone birthday!

Gomez recently told Ryan Seacrest that she's been able to stay out of trouble by surrounding herself with an amazing group of friends. "At the end of the day, success is nothing if you don't have the right people to share it with," she said. "You're just going to end up lonely." Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend said "it's fun" to go to Hollywood parties and "meet people" but added that she doesn't go out often. "I like my home a lot," she said. "Most of the time, I'm by the fire pit with friends." Well except last night ... looks like the former Disney darling let loose with a few drinks!

So was Bieber on her brain during the festivities? Selena says she's single, but we're wondering if he was able to sweep her off her feet with a sweet text...

Amanda Bynes has been placed on a 5150 hold after trespassing and allegedly starting a fire on a property in Thousand Oaks, California on Monday night.

Bynes was reportedly trying to gain access to a retirement community in Thousand Oaks, and when management turned her away and called a cab, she threw a hissy fit and walked back towards the community, at which point cops were called, according to TMZ.

The fire department then responded to a home in the community around 9pm after a blaze was set in the driveway, and when TMZ spoke with the homeowner, she said she had no idea what was going on until cops came to her door. The police then told her there was a young woman in her driveway who had lit a fire and was carrying a "little red gas tank." The elderly resident said cops added that Amanda had also "burned part of her clothing." Yikes!

When sheriff's deputies arrived, they asked the 27-year-old actress what she was doing, and when she responded they determined that she needed to be placed on a 5150 hold, which is an involuntary 72-hour hospitalization for mental evaluation.

Britney Spears was placed under a 5150 in 2008 before her father was appointed co-conservator over her estate and affairs. So far no official statement from anyone representing Amanda ... but we're wondering if her parents will follow in the footsteps of Jamie Spears and try to get control over their troubled daughter's life.

The new parents are finally speaking out on the birth of their royal baby!

Prince William and Kate Middleton are the proud parents of a baby boy, and the couple are full of gratitude for the people that helped bring him into this world!

"We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received. We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone - staff, patients and visitors - for their understanding during this time," the pair said in a joint statement.

The Prince's uncle and Princess Diana's brother couldn't be more elated with the baby news, either!

"We're all so pleased. It's wonderful news," Charles Spencer said in his own statement.

The baby's grandfather Prince Charles is busy fulfilling royal duties in Yorkshire with wife Camilla, but he still found time to speak out on the newest heir to the throne!

"I'm thrilled and very excited," he said after the birth.

Congrats are rolling in from the U.S. President, as well!

"Michelle and I are so pleased to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the joyous occasion of the birth of their first child. We wish them all the happiness and blessings parenthood brings," President Obama expressed in a statement.

There is no shortage of well wishes for the little prince!

On Monday afternoon Nicole Richie and hubby Joel Madden hopped on a boat in St. Tropez with daughter Harlow and son Sparrow, and we can't believe how big their kids are getting!

The family has been doing quite a bit of jet setting this summer -- last week they vacationed in Portofino and Nicole and Joel even met up with Magic Johnson and his wife, Cookie, for dinner. Earlier this month Nicole was busy promoting her web series, and the last time she went on a vacay Joel was working thousands of miles away, so it must be nice to take some time off with all of her loved ones.

And what a little cutie Sparrow is turning out to be! We don't get to see him all that often, and we can't decide who he looks more like, his mom or dad...

On Monday Halle Berry took her daughter Nahla to Disneyland in Anaheim, and the newly married (and preggers!) actress couldn't stop beaming! I guess it really is the happiest place on earth...

Last weekend Halle and longtime(ish) beau Olivier Martinez tied the knot in Vallery, France, but apparently the lovebirds aren't going on a honeymoon just yet. They announced Halle's pregnancy back in April, so maybe they're waiting until after she gives birth to their son later this year?

Rose McGowan and her boyfriend, artist Davey Detail, are engaged.

Rumors began swirling last week when McGowan, 39, stepped out in West Hollywood with Detail wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand, and her rep confirmed the news today.

The couple have been together for about a year, and this will be the first marriage for both. McGowan was previously engaged to Marilyn Manson for two years before ending their relationship in 2001, and then to director Robert Rodriguez from 2007 to 2009.

All eyes were on Rihanna when the singer rocked Stockholm during her Diamonds World Tour. For Sunday's concert at the Ericsson Globe Arena, the newly gray singer donned a see-through top, leather bra, booty shorts, gold statement jewelry and some serious swagger. Hello miss sexy thang!

Over the weekend, the good girl gone bad also explored the Scandinavian city and tweeted, “10 mins at the park today with no papz! #OperationPhreshAir mission accomplished!”

Lady Gaga is going nude. A bare-faced and an unclothed Gaga spread her legs for a V magazine spread and it's just another reminder to Little Monsters everywhere that her eagerly awaited album, ARTPOP, still isn't in their paws yet.

In the pic, the singer, who has never been known for her modesty, sports a wavy dirty blonde mane, sits atop a stool, opens her legs and uses her hands to covers herself. All is a day's work for the 27-year-old popstar. Photographer Vinoodh Matadi posted the image on his Instagram page on Saturday with the following caption: "Get ready world for our pics of @ladygaga for @vmagazine !kisses iv #artpop."

In addition to the racy pic, a 23-second clip of Gaga has been leaked online that is believed to be part of promotional work for the upcoming album. In the vid, the singer licks a mannequin's hand in slow motion -- needless to say it's pretty damn creepy. But we'd expect nothing else from the envelope-pushing singer.

While we may not be getting our aural fixation from Gaga quite, Gaga announced earlier this month that ARTPOP’s debut track will be released on August 19 and the full album will be in stores and available for download November 11.
