Serena Williams was named Woman of the Year by GQ, but the mag chose to put the word woman in quotation marks, and now fans are furious!

The tennis great is featured along with the "Men of the Year" including Jonah Hill, Michael B. Jordan, and Henry Golding on different covers, but critics take issue with the fact her gender is being seemingly called into question.

"Woman in quotation marks? This is both transphobic and highly insensitive. Shame on you, GQ," one Twitter user wrote. "So a powerful accomplished woman gets recognized for her talents, only to be torn down for her gender? Disgusting," another user wrote.

Apparently, Serena's close pal and Off-White designer Virgil Abloh was responsible for the graphic design, and he's known for putting quotation marks around certain phrases, so some people say it's not meant to be offensive and rather just part of his personal aesthetic.

The amount of nonsense Serena deals with on a daily basis is mind-blowing!

John Mayer just revealed that he quit drinking two years ago after making a "fool" of himself at Drake's 30th birthday bash.

“I was doing a show with Dave Chappelle, and Drake was in the audience. Drake came up, he said hello. And I hadn’t seen him since his birthday. He reminded me — well, he didn’t really remind me, he told me for the first time ’cause I was pretty far gone, it was the last night I had ever had a drink — that when I said goodbye to him, and was about to leave the club and go into the street, I put my arms out in front of him and I said, ‘Remember me, and remember this,’ and just walked out. Apparently it was like, what did he just say?” the singer told Complex.

"Chappelle lost it, that [I] would have said that. And I have confirmation from someone else standing next to him that ultimately, I wasn’t so bad that night. I found out it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Apparently held it mostly together," he added.

His mortifying behavior, coupled with a wicked hangover, brought him to his knees and made him embrace an alcohol-free lifestyle.

“I was in my sixth day of the hangover. That’s how big the hangover was. I looked out the window and I went, ‘OK, John, what percentage of your potential would you like to have? Because if you say you’d like 60, and you’d like to spend the other 40 having fun, that’s fine. But what percentage of what is available to you would you like to make happen? There’s no wrong answer. What is it?’ I went, ‘100,'" he revealed.

So what advice does he have for people that want to do the same?

"If I were to tell other people how they could do it, it just is so particular to your own spirit and your own psychology that it’s almost impossible to develop one way of explaining it to someone else. You have to fight really hard to look at it from a critical point of view because it’s constantly pushed on you. Every Friday and Saturday, on social media, there is enabling going on for drinking. What if I woke up every morning on Saturday and Sunday and put my feet on the ground and I just went ‘not hungover’ and put it on social media every day? That would be an influence on people because I think you forget that’s an option. If you look at drinking the way you would look at anything else, which is risk-reward, what am I giving up? What am I getting? It’s some of the worst odds that ever existed," he explained.

Brian Austin Green's ex Vanessa Marcil recently put him on blast on Instagram, claiming that he and wife Megan Fox disowned his 16-year-old son Kassius after failing to win primary custody years ago.

"As usual I can’t wait to see @lisalingstagram show on custody cases. 12 years ago I was served legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father & his stepmother trying to get full custody(that means I would have seen my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay them child support. They lost that case & a civil case asking me for 200,000," the actress began.

"I never spoke publicly in order to protect my then young son from paparazzi that used to follow him & terrify him. I had also never asked for child support of any kind and had never tried to take time away from Kass’ dad seeing him. Ever. In the end they lost all of these court cases. The judge called them all “Frivolous” They always had 50% custody and still did when court ended as I had and have NEVER asked for full custody," she continued.

"Then, 5 years ago on their own they decided to completely cut Kass out of their lives and his younger brothers’ lives. Kass has never met his youngest brother and is not allowed to know where his bio father, stepmother and three younger brothers live. Custody cases hurt the children only and the truth shall set us all free. Put the kids first you guys. There shouldn’t be a “more important parent” kids love both parents equally no matter what either parent’s struggles may be. Kass has been truly heartbroken since being cut out of his other families lives with NO explanation. Let’s do better for our kids. Let’s share our stories. #Buddhakids," she concluded.

The 90210 star has yet to respond to the allegations, but if you look at his social media accounts, you can see that he's doing his best to play the role of supportive father, frequently posting pics of the teen. So is it all a big cover-up, or is he being unfairly accused? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian grabbed dinner at The Henry with Kanye West last night, as the wildfires continued to rage around their Hidden Hills neighborhood, but we guess they can rest a little easier knowing that they have private firefighters working on their behalf!

That's right... the K clan ponied up the cash to make sure their mansions stayed safe from the blaze, and their efforts paid off, as none of their pads have been damaged thus far.

In other news, Kimmy K just opened up about what her relatives "smell" like while promoting her newest KKW fragrances, and we guess her rapper hubby reeks of cold hard cash?

“I can’t explain it, but like a rich person. Like … money, I don’t know! He smells like what you think a really expensive, Saint Laurent fragrance campaign would be," she explained to The Cut about 'Ye's natural scent.

As for the others?

"Kendall has no scent — which is a good thing. She’s just always smells fresh and clean, and smells like a supermodel — exactly what you think she would smell like. [Kylie] always smells like one of my original fragrances that have gardenias and jasmine. Kourtney smells like all-natural products. Khloé smells like rich oils; very fruity, but rich in scent. She also likes very white florals," she added.

Is Jaden Smith messing with us or what?!

The sometimes-androgynous model/rapper/actor took to the stage at Tyler the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw festival Sunday at Dodger's Stadium in LA and decided to announce that the two are ... DATING!

I mean, we've pretty much always known about Tyler and Jaden's hinted at bisexuality, but he just came OUT with it yesterday. Unless, of course, this is all a joke, which it seems it might be. We're not sure Kanye really needed to dye his hair red ... buy why not?! In a way it seems like a weird tribute to California fire victims, as even the Kardashian clan has been forced to evacuate their Hidden Hills and Calabasas homes.

We asked Kanye the other night how his mega-mansion is holding up (it's fine), though the more prevalent worry for Ye may be the shooting outside a Beverly Hills manse where he, Tekashi 6ix9ini, and Nicki Minaj were supposed to film a music video last week. No news on whether the "shoot" had to be rescheduled (sorry, bad pun).

Right now, Kim and Kanye are holed up in a luxury bungalow at the Hotel Bel Air -- not exactly roughing it. No, this family doesn't sleep on their friends' couches, folks -- they just turn it into a staycation.

Everyone's talking about Travis Scott being freaked out by the placenta when Kylie Jenner gave birth to the couple's daughter Stormi but for us, that's not the takeaway of Ellen DeGeneres' interview with the Astroworld rapper ... it's that he's so DAMN CUTE!

Travis gifts Ellen with his Nike Airforce 1's, downs a shot of tequila, opens up about his relationship with Kylie and does it all with the most adorable smile. We LOVE guys who are obviously cool but don't throw it in your face -- he's humble and normal and has zero superiority complex (unlike another rapper in the Kardashian clan). It's so endearing!

Miley Cyrus is among the many hundreds of people of Malibu who've lost their homes to the devastating Woolsey Fire. The singer Tweeted: "Completely devestated [sic] by the fires affecting my community,” the singer, 25, tweeted on Sunday, November 11. “I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left. Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff’s department!"

Sadly my house couldn’t be saved. The courageous firefighters were able to save my cars and personal items recovered from my home. I thanked the fire chief and his team of firemen for all of their hard work. He took the time to explain what happened and I’m grateful for all of their hard work trying to save my home.
