On Saturday, David Duchovny joined just about everyone else's quest to beat the heat in the Los Angeles area by hitting the beaches in Malibu.
The 52-year-old Californication star has been low key of late, especially with news of his former hit show The X-Files celebrating its 20th anniversary at Comic-Con International 2013.
Most of the people behind the show will be in attendance but the real question is, will David join them?

He's got game!
Chris Brown proved that he's as good with a basketball as he is with song lyrics and dance moves on Saturday when he participated at the Celebrity Basketball Game as part of the BET Experience in downtown Los Angeles.
The Fine China singer was joined by other celebs like Maurice Green, Columbus Short, Tristan Wilds, Busta Rhymes and Mike Epps to name a few for the event that was a precursor to tonight's 2013 BET Awards.
Brown himself is nominated for Best Male R&B Artist this time around but some say he's sure to run into some stiff competition, mainly from Justin Timberlake.

Talk about getting into their roles!
Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf went ahead on a little recon mission of their own when they visited Fort Irwin in the Mojave Desert to prep for their upcoming WWII film Fury.
The two stars were also joined by Logan Lerman to meet with soldiers at the National Training Center, where they got to check out the lay of the land and posed for pictures with fans.
LaBeouf did one better as he posted short video clips of his experience which you can check out below.
This looks like it has the makings of an epic movie!
